i voted the x-men,it was them that got me into comics in the first place,i'm gonna stay loyal.

love both teams & the avengers will probably end up winning this fight, marvel have got a film to promote next year.
Minghagz - 12/6/2011, 2:33 PM
As far as comics go, I've always been a bigger fan of the X-men than the Avengers so I went with X-men on this one but I too get the feeling that the Avengers will win.
YoungThanos - 12/6/2011, 3:22 PM
Who ever stated that Avengers > Xmen is a dumbass. where would any of the Avengers teams be it it weren't for former Xmen? Xmen rarely ever need the Avengers in the event of a crisis.
hunterelf - 12/6/2011, 3:33 PM
does avengers have any telepath ?
OtakuPapi - 12/6/2011, 3:37 PM
x men easy win
FightmasterNoel - 12/6/2011, 3:40 PM
I think avengers, they still have thor and hulk on there team right? If so then those two tip the scale. Cap vs. Cyclops will be epic and WOlvie might pose some threat to the avenger heavyweights but I still think Avengers win.
cypher - 12/6/2011, 4:18 PM
Colossus, rogue, storm, iceman, emma frost, & magneto. Nuff said.
JYCowboy - 12/6/2011, 4:42 PM
Hmm, not many X fans anymore.
RobinNumbah6 - 12/6/2011, 5:12 PM
Avengers only because it looks like Wolverine's fighting for them
Jarvisjackrabbit - 12/6/2011, 5:28 PM
Scarlet Witch is back around
Scarlet Witch is an Avenger.
House of M.
Avengers > X-Men
Jolt17 - 12/7/2011, 4:38 AM
Avengers...because Captain America is in it. Oh, I'm too much biased now.
MrWayne - 12/7/2011, 2:48 PM
if it was the hulk, and not red hulk I'd say Avengers, and the picture doesn't show Thor, so X-men all day long. Magneto should be able to take out most of them himself.
AlcoholicA - 12/7/2011, 3:36 PM
Thor is dead. Its red hulk instead of Green. X-Men win. They have many Omega level mutants. The X-men aren't even a team, they're a nation. To say they are fighting the X-Men means they are fighting everyone on Utopia that Cyke has at his disposal, since I doubt Wolverine is gonna side with him that pretty much eliminates Westchester.
m0th3r - 12/7/2011, 5:01 PM
They just said Thor would be back, it appears in short order...and i wonder if 'cosmic shenanigans' means a supercharged Thor. That plus don't forget i seem to see two hulks plus Thor, physically the three could take on any(or all) X-men alone. Throw in Wanda....i just don't know how the X-men could possibly win, and we have still left out 90% of the avengers. If we see a return of the Phoenix Force,,..anything is possible.

All that said, Avengers hit theaters next spring...celebrating its victory over X-men i believe. I cant imagine the Mouse Executive signing off on X-men (and fox studios crap movies) win out over their highly invested summer tent pole movie for 2012.

Sorry, if im a disney executive and want the xmen back to rejoin (and rebooted) with the Marvel Film Universe, you devalue the dilute the books and try to reduce the viability of the product, that combined with Fox's inability to make a great movie (first class was ok)...hopefully driving back the rights...

Well..i can dream cant I?!?!? :)

Ok, it's like this:
Arguably, the Avengers have always been more powerful,
but arguably, the X-Men have always been more skillful.

Having powerhouses like the Hulk and thor And Wonderman is great, but the X-Men went to a SCHOOL for combat and they have trained non-stop for the entirety of their existence.

It's like having a ninja fight a samurai. Both have their strengths, both have their vulnerabilities.

Ultimately, if it's handled correctly, I think the X-Men should come out on top. It would be interesting to have seen this with both Bendis and Whedon at the helm. I think they both know the characters better than almost anyone.
Mentok - 12/7/2011, 5:47 PM
Agree with Cyked.
GothamKnight01 - 12/7/2011, 6:19 PM
The X-men!

Magneto will crush Iron-Man's suit and distroy him, the same for Wolverine's body.
He could also throw Captain America's shield into his body and kill him.

STORM: "Do you know what happens to a spider when it's struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else." Bye Spider-man!

Above all I think the best fight would be between Cyclops and Captain America...

Kyatollah - 12/14/2011, 1:43 PM
It will likely be a no-contest, as there's no way in hell these two teams of HEROES are the only ones concerned about the next vessel of the PHOENIX FORCE. Someone else (Doom, Ultron, Magneto or somebody) will try to abduct her, and the two sides will join forces to stop them. Oh, and someone will die. Seriously, it always happens!
Vision, Ant Man, Hawkeye (Disassembled)
Hawkeye again (House Of M)
Dr. Strange (1602)
Cap, Goliath (Civil War)
Wasp (Secret Invasion)
Ares, Sentry (Siege)
Bucky, Thor (Fear Itself)
