These new Ghostbusters television ads contain quite a few new snippets of footage from the Paul Feig-directed reboot. By all accounts, this movie is its own thing and won't be set in the same continuity as the first two - but there are still plenty of callbacks, including cameos from the original cast members, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and of course, Slimer.

The classic apparitions can be seen in action here along with the new team: Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth.

Erin Gilbert (Wiig) and Abby Yates (McCarthy) are a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. A few years later Gilbert lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University, but her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Gilbert reunites with Yates and others when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.

Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 15.
