me too rand
RocknSntchRvlvr - 7/29/2012, 9:58 AM
Dark Knight for sure. The battle between Batman and joker is classic and epic. Most entertaining story too. I was surprised more and it had an edge of your seat factor.
darkness - 7/29/2012, 9:59 AM
bb was by far the best batman film!
Timerider84 - 7/29/2012, 10:00 AM
I loved them all, but Batman Begins was my favorite too. Each movie brought something to the table and I also liked that as well about the trilogy.
Ryguy88 - 7/29/2012, 10:01 AM
Closer than I thought. I voted TDK, I still think its the best CBM to date.
CaptainLantern - 7/29/2012, 10:02 AM
I am pleasantly surprised that this isn't a landslide for TDK. BB is definitely my favorite.
TheBatman23ac - 7/29/2012, 10:05 AM
It's all one story/movie.
poop23 - 7/29/2012, 10:05 AM
For me, TDK #1, and BB at #2.
Ha1frican - 7/29/2012, 10:08 AM
Really? Tdkr is easily the weaker of the 3
randymongoose - 7/29/2012, 10:09 AM
Every one is a classic. TDK is my favourite film ever though so it's gotta be!
SigmaCenturion - 7/29/2012, 10:12 AM
Batman Begins was the most forgivable of the bunch because he was just starting out. With a little bit of editing it could have been brought closer to the comics or at least a comic book world that the DC Cinematic Universe could have fed into. Like the scene towards the end where Ra's Al Ghul closes his eyes on the train they could have had an extra scene where it does show the Lazarus Pits and could explain that he only uses the parlor tricks because the pits drive him insane for awhile and he wants to keep his wits. More references to other DC Comics cities would have helped too. Just throw in something fantastical but do it in a way that doesn't completely over power the realistic tone to the world that nolan tried to go for.
CaptainAmerica31 - 7/29/2012, 10:12 AM
TDK it had the best story and acting, BB comes really close though I am also a sucker for orgin tales
FilmsFan - 7/29/2012, 10:13 AM
I love all 3 Babies!

Just the new one is favourite!
The Dark Knight RISES for me!

But a few years from now; ALL 3 will be EQUALLY AMAZING!!
TrueRedBlue - 7/29/2012, 10:14 AM
TDKR was great, but Dark Knight is... well, it's THE DARK KNIGHT!!
Angelus - 7/29/2012, 10:19 AM
The fighting scene where Bane breaks Batman is the greatest fight scene of the lot!
CrimsonReign - 7/29/2012, 10:21 AM
TDK by a nose and BB next and TDKR fairly close after that...great trilogy.
DrRockso - 7/29/2012, 10:21 AM
Jokers a homo
typicalfanboy - 7/29/2012, 10:21 AM
as good and brutal as rises is, tdk can't be beaten. to me THAT was the definitive batman film. it set the bar so high, that even its conclusion(tdkr) could reach it, but it came close.
brickarts295 - 7/29/2012, 10:21 AM
This is a tough a one really !
dezdigi - 7/29/2012, 10:23 AM
Hard pick, I love them all and think they stand well by themselves and as a trilogy.
RW108 - 7/29/2012, 10:26 AM
I like all three movies but this was a no brainer for me. The Joker is THE definitive Batman villain. Plus, the performance was awesome.
Fantine - 7/29/2012, 10:29 AM
I know its a cliche, but I loved Rises so much.
hotCARL - 7/29/2012, 10:31 AM
The new Batman is by FAR 1 of the biggest disappointing conclusions for such an amazing series. Acting was subpar, Catwoman is a horrible idea for the screen. Nohting can ever compare to THe Dark Knight.
Maia87 - 7/29/2012, 10:32 AM
Batman Begins is the best because it has Ninja and Liam Neeson in it.
WhoIsAdamWe - 7/29/2012, 10:37 AM

HeadPool420 - 7/29/2012, 10:43 AM
Batman Begins for me.:)
Franshu - 7/29/2012, 10:49 AM
The first half of Batman Begins was awesome, but as soon as Batman himself appeared, things tended to become slightly boring. TDK is a masterpiece, you're at the edge of your seat during the whole film. TDKR is also incredible, it has the same edge-of-your seat factor, but it has more mistakes than the previous two (plot-wise), and it doesn't have the Joker. Despite all that, it's a really, really hard choice between TDK and TDKR, for they're both meaningful and epic in their own ways. Still I choose TDK... the Joker's in that one.
IIIAdamantiumIII - 7/29/2012, 10:53 AM
i just like how tdkr tied all the films together and went back to the bb formula tdk was more of a stand alone film
MiVigilante - 7/29/2012, 10:54 AM
i had to go with begins.....
Montross - 7/29/2012, 10:57 AM
This one is really hard. The Dark Knight Saga is one of the few trilogies where each installment is so masterfully crafted that discussions over which is superior really boil down to which installment featured your favorite villain or story arc.

I chose 'The Dark Knight,' and not because it was better than 'Begins' or 'Rises,' but because of the 3 TDK to me feels the most like classic Batman. I say that for really 1 reason: The Joker. The conflict between Batman and the Joker as you all know is a defining aspect of the character. Two-face's arc only bolstered that was already winning combination of pitting the personification of law and order against the personification of chaos and anarchy.

Furthermore, to the average lay person who is not as well-versed in Batman lore as we are, Ra's al-Ghul and Bane (as he was interpreted in 'Rises') are not well-known villains. The Joker and Two-face on the other hand are instantly recognizable and their characterization are true to form from what most people know about them.

Please don't look at this as a diss to 'Begins' and 'Rises.' I love both films as well and am on a total buzz right now from having seen 'Rises' several times.
UncleJimmy - 7/29/2012, 11:01 AM
do 2 new polls.

which film do you think was the most complete story telling wise

which was your favorite guilty pleasure.

batman begins has by far the least plot holes.

the second 2 films are worst than "lost" for plot holes and fridge logic.

MetropolisKid - 7/29/2012, 11:18 AM
The dark knight rises.
Nomis1800 - 7/29/2012, 11:21 AM
timmyjingoro - 7/29/2012, 11:30 AM
You have got to be f****** kidding me. TDKR was pretty good but I don't see any reason why so many would pick it as being better than TDK. I can even understand love for Batman Begins as 'the best'. But no way for TDKR.
CharacterAssassin - 7/29/2012, 11:31 AM
BB was more practical out of the three. Therefore, got my vote. However, Joker is the best all time villain out of the three.
OtakuPapi - 7/29/2012, 11:49 AM
Neither compares to The Dark Knight simply because.... people who aren't the average fan acknowledge it as a classic. It surpasses just being another Batman movie. BB AND TDKR not so much.
FlashhGordon27 - 7/29/2012, 11:50 AM
Batman Begins fo sho
Natetrix79 - 7/29/2012, 12:03 PM
The Dark Knight, Batman start to grow as a hero, his tech was getting better, the Joker was frightening & funny, it was everything a Batman movie should be.
