Honestly Suicide Squad doesn't deserve last place BvS is worse. I actually enjoy the first act of Suicide Squad, it's only when the plot gets going the film starts to succk.

@Floppyspider - Yeah once the actual mission starts it all turns into a boring mess. But what I'm saying is that I enjoyed the first act, there's some funny moments and line in there.

Only thing is Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman 1984, Aquaman, Birds of Prey and Shazam are NOT part of DCEU their all stand alone films just like The Batman will be.

DCEU IS DEAD all future DC movies are stand alone movies.

@DoubleD - I think they are part of the same universe but with the expectation that they know that we know that they’re are major conflicts and differences that they expect us to overlook.

@DoubleD - I want more of Snyder’s take. I’m not one of those rabid fans by any means but I enjoyed man of steel, BVS not nearly as much, but I loved ZSJL.

@DoubleD - MoS, BvS-DoJ-UE and ZSJL are Snyderverse.

All the theatrically released ones are DCEU (or even Whedonverse if you prefer).

The current version of the DCEU wil only be dead after Flash comes out.

And even then, we might get some Snyderverse stuff on HBO Max.

I do hope we come up with a better name than DCEU after Flash though.

for me it's ZS's JL, WW, Shazam and Aquaman in no particular order, the rest I can take or leave. Shazam for actually having a heart, WW for being a better version of what Snyder previously tried to do, Aquaman for being so damn extra and flashy and the Snyder Cut for at the very least being coherent and surprisingly engaging despite it's definitely bloated runtime and weird music choices.

The only DCEU films on this list are Man of Steel, Batman VS Superman and Justice League.

Clicked on this to see if Joker was included or not this time, very pleased with the result. Not too far from how I'd personally rank them, but BvS has a few more redeeming qualities than JL to me. It doesn't look like ass until the very end. Still, two bad films. Suicide Squad meanwhile is hardly a film, more of an extended music video.

Shazam is probably the most coherent film in the franchise (I don't think it ever justifies its runtime, but you can say that for many other films in here) but Wonder Woman is still its peak. The Ares twist that thematically undercuts the film (or just the bad guys in general) aside, it's pretty much perfect and the best cbm origin of the 2010s that isn't named Into the Spider-Verse. It also has some of my favorite action sequences, which is funny considering how underwhelming Wonder Woman 1984 was in that department.

Speaking of villains, as enjoyable as Shannon is in MoS, Ocean Master is my fave.
