We saw several shots of Jared Leto as The Joker in the buildup to the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League that didn't end up in the "Nightmare" epilogue scene, and Snyder recently confirmed that he shot some additional footage of the Clown Prince of Crime for his "Justice is Gray" edition of the film.

Now, a new look at Leto as the legendary villain has found its way online, and it makes for quite the visual. Joker can be seen erupting in maniacal laughter as he holds the iconic cowl of his nemesis, The Batman.

In the movie, Superman can be seen holding The Dark Knight's mask (implying that he's killed him) as he glides towards the camera in Cyborg's premonition sequence, which the Joker clearly finds quite amusing.

Like the crown of thorns image, this might simply be a promotional shot for ZSJL and won't end up in any version of the movie, but a lot of fans would be interested to see more of Leto's twisted take on the Harlequin of Hate after his brief, but memorable return in the "Snyder Cut."

In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.

Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

Tell us, have you watched ZSJL yet? If so, what did you think? You can check out my review HERE.

Just finished. Definitely an improvement but it’s hard to imagine a 2 1/2 hour cut working. Leto was... interesting?

I love Steppenwolf. I love his stupid, stupid, stupid horns. I could look at his beady little eyes and weird ass nose for hours

That scene with him and Batman was so goddamn stupid. Made no sense

@BlackBeltJones - So did the Martian Manhunter scene.

@DaHyro - Both of Martian Manhunter’s scenes felt very disconnected from the rest of the film. Rumor is Snyder wanted two Green Lanterns to visit Bruce in that scene at the lake, but WB wouldn’t approve it, so he shot the scene anyway, with Affleck reacting to a tennis ball, and changed it to Martian Manhunter in post.

The way he introduces himself “They call me Martian Manhunter” felt super wooden. Introduce yourself as John, for Pete’s sake.
