By now, you'll have no doubt seen the first wave of reviews for Zack Snyder's Justice League

Well, as per usual, those initial verdicts have all be counted on Rotten Tomatoes, and we now have a score! There are more Rotten DC movies than Fresh ones, so where does the long-anticipated "Snyder Cut" land?

Since the Tweet below was posted, a further ten reviews have been counted, and the movie now sits at 75%. It will need to stay there (or go a little higher) if it hopes to be "Certified Fresh," however.

The current Critics Consensus reads, "Zack Snyder's Justice League lives up to its title with a sprawling cut that expands to fit the director's vision -- and should satisfy the fans who willed it into existence."

It's definitely looking good so far, but how does it compare to Joss Whedon's 2017 version?

That still sits at a not too terrible 40% at 400 reviews; the Critics Consensus is quite a bit different, though, as it states: "Justice League leaps over a number of DC movies, but its single bound isn't enough to shed the murky aesthetic, thin characters, and chaotic action that continue to dog the franchise."

The Whedon Cut is dead, long live the Snyder Cut, eh?

I'm excited for this movie but please don't start doing a new RT score article everytime it changes

@antiFanboyism - Does it keep re-revealing itself? How does that work? I honestly don't understand.

@antiFanboyism - people shouldn’t care what critics think it’s what person them self think of it your self have critics tell you what to see is same little kids living in life mommy and daddy critic tell you what to do in life full grown adult

@GwenLantern - RT is an aggregator. Meaning it's score isn't its own score, but a collection of scores from all (most reputable sites and critics), and finds the average. So most sites gave this movie between a 7 and an 8 score and that's why the RT score is at 75%.
But as more reviews start coming in more and more scores will add in and change the overall percentage. So if enough critics don't like it the score will drop. And vice versa.

@kazuma - The percentage is actually based on whether or not a review is positive or negative, so positive is 100% and negative is 0%. So 7-8 out of 10 thought the movie was at least ok. Your explanation would be a lot less convoluted than what is currently in place haha

@kazuma - So... the score is never actually "revealed"?

Didn’t expect a good rotten tomatoes score. Wouldn’t have meant anything to me, just like it shouldn’t to anyone else. Critics have been wrong on more things over the years than right. Don’t know when the world started taking what they say as gospel

I mean a glowing review and a barely positive one still count as fresh, and even the harshest reviews so far still at least say it was better than the Joss Whedon version.
