@regularmovieguy - i really dont see how it doesnt. Its slightly less in terms of OPENING box office when the other movies were released over the holidays. Its projected to make close to half its budget and it could also gain traction depending on word of mouth.

Chris and Tessa are second-tier actors. They did in Endgame their best and this is it.

MIB looks like another flop as Ghostbusters

@lvcl - I haven't seen Thompson in anything other than Ragnarok and Endgame, but she seems like a solid supporting actor. Hemsworth on the other hand, certainly can carry a film on his own. He has good comedic timing, a natural charisma, and has given a unique vunerability to a character formerly seen as the weak link to the MCU. The guy is a solid lead imo.

@Feralwookiee -

Hemsworth can carry a film on his own playing THOR cause it is a popular character but without THOR he is nothing.

I watched Thomson in WESTWORLD and she is just a TV series actress.
Maybe you must watch this series to realise that my words are true.

So technically, Thor and Valkyrie are still fighting aliens.

What articles like this one always forgets to mention is if you take inflation and ticket price into account then this opening weekend is actually much lower than the original trilogy, not "just a bit".

I can't decide which one looks worse, this or the new Terminator movie.

Always loved the MIB series but unless this absolutely rocks I'll just wait for the DVD. The last few trailers just didn't hook me as I had hoped.

Yikes, that's not great, but seems par for the course this year.
