EDIT:Green Lantern Fan Cast

Next on my Casting To-Do List is Green Lantern. Now I did enjoy Green Lantern but feel that it could be better. I did keep some characters the same as I feel they could do the part well. Other than that Enjoy! Be aware that all these characters wouldn’t appear in one movie…it would be the course of several movie/sequals.

**This movie will also take place in the same universe as my Batman & Superman fan casts**

Ron Pearlman as Solomon Grundy? I would pick Benedict Cumberbatch as Solomon Grundy, watch him in Danny Boyles Frankenstein and you will see why.

watched it, and it has absolutely nothing to do with Solomon Grundy, nor was there anything Grundy-esque about sherlock or johnny lee miller's co-monologue

i can see why he could be solomon Grundy...but i feel that just Ron Pearlmen being the size he is could pull of the role. but i appreciate the input

If you want to make Green Lantern dark and gritty like Batman Begins and the Dark Knight, pick Benedict Cumberbatch.

Benedict Cumberbatch would make Solomon Grundy more complex. Solomon Grundy could have a similar origin to the Frankinstein creature who was cast out of humanity once he was brought to life by the slaughter swamp. Danny Boyle's Frankenstein was critically acclaimed.

I thought this was a great fan cast. I haven't seen green lantern yet but from I heard Mark Strong was excellent. Did you not like Strong?

@BooYa...i did enjoy Strong's performance as i enjoyed many of the performances in the movie...but i had cast him in another role in my batman fan cast and i feel Isaac's could pull of the darkness the comes out of Sinestro

Sherlock is not a good pick for Grundy. He is the opposite of that.

Grundy is not a psychologically intelligent killer. Quite the opposite, in fact, as he is a near mindless zombie halfway compsed of swamp, and the ther half a rotting corpse. he's super strong, and can not be killed, as he is already dead.

Grundy is not a hard villian to defeat. you dont have to outsmart him, you dont have to formulayte plots and plans, you just have to neutralize him where his stregth is rendered useless.

HaroldOfGalactus@ My take of Solomon Grundy is that he will start out as a mindless but harmless zombie, who that everyone is scared of. He learns how to speak from a blind man who does not know what he looks like. When the blind mans son arrives he mistakens Grundy to be a monster and attempts to Kill him, so Grundy in rage burns the Blind Mans house down. From then on, Grundy becomes a killer.
