Plus, Ian McKellen talks about possible sequels and Hugh Jackman comments on the Wolverine movie.

Warning: Spoilers

New stills from X-Men: The Last Stand are now online. You can view many of them by clicking here.

Here's how 20th Century Fox describes the film which debuts May 26: "In the Brett Ratner-directed film, the climax of the 'X-Men' motion picture trilogy, a 'cure' for mutancy threatens to alter the course of history. For the first time, mutants have a choice: retain their uniqueness, though it isolates and alienates them, or give up their powers and become human. The opposing viewpoints of mutant leaders Charles Xavier, who preaches tolerance, and Magneto, who believes in the survival of the fittest, are put to the ultimate test – triggering the war to end all wars.

"Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Famke Janssen, Anna Paquin, Kelsey Grammer, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Shawn Ashmore, Aaron Stanford, Vinnie Jones, Ben Foster and Patrick Stewart star."

Meanwhile, Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) talked with Superhero Hype about his stand-alone Wolverine movie. It's a prequel to the X-Men films, currently being written by David Benioff (Troy). Jackman said he's been reading a lot of Logan's back story in the comics.

"We have two drafts and David is going to do another draft, and then we'll find our director," he said. "I'm not going to make a decision until I have the script right, but I'll definitely look at Brett [Ratner]. I don't want Wolverine to appear to be ‘X-Men 4' in disguise; I don't want to make it stylistically the same. I want to do something different. That's my idea. Until we have the script, I don't really know who's right, but there's been a lot of interest from a lot of really amazing directors, so I'm really excited."

Also, Ian McKellen (Magneto) appeared on a UK talk show hosted by Jonathan Ross and hinted that X3 leaves the door open for possible sequels. Ross, who had seen the final film, was asked by McKellen (who hadn’t) "was Magneto playing chess at the end of the film?". When Ross confirmed that, McKellen said that was a good sign that there may be more of Magneto in future X-films.

A clip from the beginning of X3 shows McKellen and Patrick Stewart as digitally altered younger versions of themselves visiting Jean Grey in her childhood home. She lifts a car into the air. You can see the clip here.

More clips from X3 can be found at MSN, Famke Janssen.org and Yahoo! Movies.
