According to the Hollywood Reporter, X-Men: The Last Stand and The Little Mermaid tore up the DVD charts last week with some big numbers including 5 million X3 DVDs sold as well as 4 million Little Mermaid DVDs sold. Sales were so high for both of the titles in their first week that the number 3 top-selling DVD The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift only sold about a tenth of as many copies as X3. The X-Men Trilogy pack also raked in the cash at number 4!
2000's X-Men also ripped and bludgeoned its way to the top of the charts during its first week, with about $10.5 million in revenue generated from the DVD rentals alone.
