Snyder, the director who made 300 and Dawn of the Dead fan favorites, has been filming since September 17, 2007, with a projected opening of March 6, 2009.
However Zack Snyder brought in a pair of Hollywood juggernaut scriptwriters to rewrite Alex Tse’s original draft. Apparently brought in months ago, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman were hot off their computers from writing Transformers when they were tagged to rewrite Watchmen for the big screen.
How much of the original draft is intact is unsure, but we do know that even after Orci and Kurtzman were done with the script, Snyder himself took a pen to it and made a few minor tweaks.
As Robert Sanchez over at IESB.net said, you ‘…Can’t go wrong with these three involved!’
