	A potential for full on naked goodness, but it's Rose McGowan and I don't think she does that kind of naked. So it's looking like one will have to drop some cash to see Rose McGowan in a role that isn't really for her, most likely doing a mediocre job at it, while they run through the check list of events for an unoriginal "revenge" story. Or at the very least, wasting a few hours of your time and not even seeing some Rose McGowan tits for the effort of putting up with it. Boo, I say to that. 	Red Sonia has always been a Conan rip-off and its sad to see that they're sticking with it on the remake. As for Rose McGowan's tits, i've seen better on guys. As a broader point of view, this has "Elektra-mega flop" written all over it. Ooh a girl that grows up, get through initiation and becomes a red assassin that wants revenge... pathetic. 	FYI, Rodriguez is one of several producers on the film, he's not directing it. I believe he was the driving force for getting it green lit, though, and he's the most well known -- thus, his name on the poster. 	Personally I think it sounds like it could work well - the plot and Sonja's origin is very close to the source material. Anyone who knows the character knows that her story does have parallels with Conan and that they share many adventures together (I've heard rumours that Conan may appear in a cameo role) My only worry is that if they over do it with effects it will look cheap and tacky - I hope they keep it simple and keep action scenes as real as possible. Apart from that I’m quite looking forward to seeing how this turns out - everything I’ve seen and heard so far only points to good things! kaos - 11/18/2008, 2:59 PM
	I have all the sin city comics and i read them all not long before i saw the movie. The movie is almost an exact replica so i'd bet more then just my left nut there Roar! 	Say it isn't soo.. man.. I remember watching the original Red Sonjia with Brigitte Nielsen and man it was just o.k. for a 12 year old. I don't know if Rose McGowan can pull it off.. I mean she's beautiful and all but I think you need a woman like Mila Johovovich (or how ever you spell her name) she does the action thing well and people buy it.. They just need to make sure the woman can act and has a MUCH MUCH better body than Mila I'm talking Demi Moore in "Striptease" body!! I just caught it in passing on cable recently and wow... she was really in shape back then and the fake boobs looked amazing.. She should have never let them go.. hahahah In the end Red Sonjia should look Amazonian kind of like Wonder Woman or else how can you buy her being so bad ass? 	Yep! Jesus has his toga and thorns...Red Sonja has a sword and jugs. McGowan doesn't fit the bill... like... at all. But nowadays, no body has that body plus the talent to act. (I cant spell her damn name either) come on man! shes too scrawny and small chested to play sonja. rose McGowan isnt that good either I think. they need someone more like the original Brigitte Nielsen. but the story seems solid enough. even if they dont nail down the actress perfectly, it should still be pretty good.
