Is 10 Cloverfield Lane a true sequel to Cloverfield? According to The Wrap, the plot is as follows--- "The majority of the movie takes place in an underground cellar, home to a teenage girl and a caretaker. The girl woke up in the cellar after a car accident, at which point her eerie companion tells her a nuclear attack has devastated society. The girl still hopes to escape. The film stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman, and John Gallagher Jr. Dan Trachtenberg. J. J. Abrams described the film as "a blood relative" or spiritual successor but not "a literal sequel" of the 2008 film Cloverfield. The film arrives in US theaters this Friday, on March 11.
