Paramount Pictures' highly anticipated sci-fi thriller Arrival, which stars Amy Adams (Justice League), Jeremy Renner (Captain America: Civil War), & Forest Whittaker (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) in the lead roles, has been receiving universal critical acclaim at the Venice Film Festival all week and now, the excruciating wait is officially on for its mid-November release date.

However, luckily for those that can't wait to see more from Denis Villeneuve's latest, The Playlist has debuted the first two clips from the mysterious feature and they are as intriguing as they are downright spooky. Check them out below:

ARRIVAL is a provocative science fiction thriller from acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve (SICARIO, PRISONERS). When mysterious spacecraft touch down across the globe, an elite team — lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) — are brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers — and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.
