It Sounds Like Kellan Lutz Is Up For A Role In McG's MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Movie

A new Masters of the Universe movie has been in the works for years now, but it's finally beginning to gain some traction with McG likely to take the helm for Sony Pictures. In fact, it appears as if the filmmaker has already started meeting with actors, as Twilight star Kellan Lutz has revealed today that he may be in early discussions for it. However, he doesn't specify who exactly he's being eyed for.

If McG wants him for He-Man, fans of the character could be in real trouble, especially after his abysmal performance in The Legend of Hercules. He has the right look, and Dolph Lundgren wasn't exactly the greatest of talents when he was cast in the 1987 movie, so it wouldn't be unprecedentaed for Lutz to be chosen to play He-Man here. Still, this isn't a great start when it comes to this cast.

It would be unfair not to give the Twilight alum a chance of course, but do you think he would be a good fit for the lead role in the Masters of the Universe reboot? Share your thoughts in the usual place.
