Kong always did have an eye for the ladies!

Legendary has released another short teaser for Godzilla Vs. Kong ahead of Sunday's full trailer, and it gives us a better idea of how massive the King of Skull Island has become since we last saw him.

The footage shows Kong in chains (it looks like someone managed to subdue the great ape on the island and bring him to the U.S., just like in the original King Kong) as an unknown character approaches, seemingly to offer some comfort.

In addition, images of toy packaging have been shared online, giving us a look at some of the other Titans 'Zilla and Kong are going to have to contend with in the movie. We knew the Skullcrushers would be back, but the card also reveals the formidable looking Warbat.

"In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever."

Also starring Alexander Skarsgard, Rebecca Hall, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Shun Oguri, Jessica Henwick and Brian Tyree Henry, Godzilla Vs. Kong pits the two famous monsters against each other in an epic battle. Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok) and Max Borenstein (The Terror) wrote the screenplay, with Adam Wingard on board as director.

The movie is set for release in theaters and on HBO Max this March.

Well we all know the fight will be a tie and will team up to fight another monster but who?

@DoubleD -

Mecha Ghidorah most likely.
Or Mecha Godzilla, since there was an established earlier Godzilla that fought Ghidorah when Ghidorah first arrived on Earth

@SatsuiNoJXA -
I retract the last bit about there being a previous Godzilla. I was thinking of an earlier series

I have a feeling they'll fight Mecha-somebody because this newspaper snippet is from the end credits of Godzilla:KOTM. Check out what it says in the area circled in red.

Ok, so is Kong the hero here? I know the end of KoTM was ambiguous, but it kinda seemed like we should fear 'Zilla now. It'll be interesting to see them acting as real creatures with motives
