RUMOUR: First (Low-Res) Set Photo From STAR WARS 7?

We recently learned that Episode 7 has actually begun early filming and entered the production stage (despite casting not being complete), now The National claim to have taken the first set photo from Star Wars Episode 7. Come check it out and let the speculation begin!

This is the photo taken by Mona Al Marzooqi of The National in Abu Dhabi. Could this be Tatooine? And what is the circular object they are rolling out of the tent?

Not much, but it does look like they are assembling something. And the folks over at http://www.starwars7news.com have done some detective work and believe the structure to be the foot of an AT-AT that were first seen in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. ..

So what do you guys think it is?

Yep. Seems Legit.

Good Find!

Nice find, very interesting, definitely could be part of an AT-AT.

Hopefully we get more photos soon, sure it'll quickly take shape

I personally think JJ will make an incredible film. I have full faith in this project.
GuardianAngel - 4/16/2014, 11:17 AM
What's Star Wars?
AgentJ - 4/16/2014, 11:19 AM
It's gonna be a long two years. We will literally get thousands of diagrams such as this guessing what crap from a set is... its Episode III all over again. Let the speculation begin!
NetmanTripleSec - 4/16/2014, 11:19 AM
Yes!! PLEASE let there be original trilogy ships and vehicles in this a lot!! That's at least half my love of Star Wars!

AWESOME Gusto!
Arrowhead77 - 4/16/2014, 11:40 AM
I hope this movie can take the sour taste of the prequel movies out of my mouth!
DrunkenNukem - 4/16/2014, 11:42 AM
seems that way
BoomTubeB - 4/16/2014, 11:43 AM
Wouldn't be surprised if we see marvel easter eggs in this movie!
Gusto - 4/16/2014, 11:43 AM
Star...lol.
Perv Dawg loves Star Wars
and Star Trek.

DrunkenNukem - 4/16/2014, 11:44 AM
@Gusto did they give you the perv discount when you purchased that?
Gusto - 4/16/2014, 11:44 AM
I'm gonna try to get Yoss, Cipher & Zilla
to take him to one of their nerdy conventions
this year.

Gusto - 4/16/2014, 11:45 AM
I always get the Perv Discount.
Bobevanz - 4/16/2014, 11:58 AM
And so it begins! For 4:20 aka easter im doing a star wars marathon. Im trying out the machete order for the first time. It makes perfect sense!
ndwwrestler2 - 4/16/2014, 12:18 PM
@MrBlackJack I actually liked 3...1 and 2 were extremely disappointing though. It's kind of strange that Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen seem to have more chemistry in the bloopers than they did during the movie.
LeonardKnows - 4/16/2014, 12:19 PM
It begins...
wookiefit76 - 4/16/2014, 12:27 PM
Ep3 was okay. Only cool thing of Ep 2 was Fetts and the clones at the end. Ep 1 sucked except if you go back and look at it as a set-up movie after the fact.
pointman - 4/16/2014, 12:28 PM
Actual props! That is a good sign!
Scarilian - 4/16/2014, 12:28 PM
These are going to end up being worse than the prequels and everyone's just going to be kicking themselves that they were hyped for it in the first place.

wookiefit76 - 4/16/2014, 12:30 PM
Maul rocked. To bad the stupid Clone Wars cartton and the books ruined him. To much of a good thing I guess.
Bobevanz - 4/16/2014, 12:31 PM
I was gonna go 4, 5, 2, 3, 6. The first one really has no ties to the trilogy. You start with the two originals, leading up to where darth vader reveals to luke he is his father. Luke goes against his father's wish of him joining his side. Han is in carbonite. The republic is in shambles. Then you start with the prequels. Skip the first one or keep it its really unnecessary. Leaving off with 5 you can now explore how darth vader came to be. You can see how the clones became storm troopers, how the jedi council is destroyed, and how the galaxy came to this horrible point in time. After seeing anakin become darth vader and finding out who his twins are, which would make for a better twist considering you dont find out their brother and sister til the 6th episode. Im so excited! J.J will give us a star wars movie we've been dying to see since the 6th one ended.
fettastic - 4/16/2014, 12:33 PM
At first I was like "PBBBBT!", but then I was like "Hmmmmm...."
TheBeard - 4/16/2014, 12:39 PM
I hope they go to Correlia where Han is from, sick of seeing Tattooine .
wookiefit76 - 4/16/2014, 12:39 PM
They were better in "Vissionaries" (I know I just spelled that wrong)

wookiefit76 - 4/16/2014, 12:40 PM
Just realized I have the spanish version in my pics folder. At least I think that's spanish.
maxleresistant - 4/16/2014, 12:42 PM
Wait, where are all the green screens?
MacacoMalandro - 4/16/2014, 12:46 PM
wow...
wookiefit76 - 4/16/2014, 12:48 PM
Yeah! The spider legs were stupid, as were the normal looking ones. He looks badass with those and the horns. The book had it has he used the dark side to hold his body together and pulled himself to freedom. He finally found out that he was replaced by Dooku and so he decided to just hunt down the jedi that destroyed his body and life. Always 2 steps behind Kenobi until he finds him on Tantooni and figured out that Luke was Anakins son. Lars ends up shooting him in the head killing him when he's about to slay Ben.
