With New Line producing Shazam, there's been some doubt about how exactly the movie is going to fit into the DC Films Universe. Audition tapes may have referenced characters like Superman and Wonder Woman but given how disorganised Warner Bros. is when it comes to this world, who knows!

Well, some new set photos might clear things up as they feature a reference to ACE Chemicals. That Gotham City company is, of course, where The Joker was born and we got to visit there when he transformed the unhinged Harleen Quinzel into Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. These posters for boxing matches don't appear to be tied into the plot in any way unless Shazam plans on fighting!

It also looks like Shazam might be set in Philadelphia as opposed to a fictional DC Comics location.

The chances of The Joker actually showing up in Shazam are between slim and none but this is still a cool Easter Egg and it will be interesting seeing how many others we get. What do you think?

I think it Would be safe for them to include cameo from Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, but even then just a blink and you'll miss it cameo. Maybe just as Diana Prince.

Other than that, I think they will (if they're smart) be keeping the references to the larger universe to a minimum, until they actually know what they're doing. With Flashpoint on it's way there could be any number of changes and since nobody saw Justice League and those that did actually repressed it, their universe is pretty much non-existent right now and I think they should do what they should have done to start off with and take it slowly, building up characters from scratch.

Unless, of course, they want to use an after-credits scene to make amends for the mistakes of the past by having a Justice League action scene with Hal Jordan on the team fighting the squid from Watchmen.

If WB back off and stay the fuk away from the production and let Sandberg do his job...this might actually be good.
