SDCC '16: Have The Other Two Villains Of SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Been Revealed?

Some potentially interesting news from one of the SDCC toy panels here. We know Vulture will be the chief baddie in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but do we now also know who'll back him up?...

As we know, movie-based toys are not always representative of the characters that will actually appear up on the screen, but in this instance there might just be something to go on.

During the Diamond Select Toys Minimates’ Panel at San Diego Comic-Con, one of the panellists seemed to confirm the two villains that would join The Vulture in Marvel and Sony's Spider-Man: Homecoming when discussing the line of toys they were planning for the movie: Shocker, and The Tinkerer.

This toy panel just seemingly (accidentally?) confirmed that Vulture, Tinkerer, *and* Shocker are all in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING. #SDCC2016

@benmekler They didn't show anything. Came up from them talking about how they don't have enough reference pics for those characters yet.

Fans have speculated that The Shocker might be utilised for the film, but The Tinkerer has to be seen as a big surprise. Of course, it's entirely possible these baddies won't appear at all, but it's very interesting that they were mentioned in the same breath as The Vulture, and in such a throwaway manner - almost as if the trio of antagonists were common knowledge.

We'll update as soon as we know more, but for know let us know what you guys make of this.

I'm a HUGE marvel fan but besides the marvel studios stuff I honestly couldn't tell you what they brought this year. Even then I wish there was a trailer for Spider-Man released.

Tinkerer is a weird choice for a movie. I guess they are leaving the most well known villains for later on. Would like to see Kraven's hunt in the sequel. Maybe Venom in the third. And could have the fourth with Green Goblin and the death of Gwen Stacy (it will have to happen again at some point I guess and you can't ignore Green Goblin for too long).

@Ramiel - Agree with that. Maybe Mysterio in the third. The thing is I don't see they avoiding Green Goblin and Dr. Octopus for too long though. Plus Venom needs to be done right and Kraven's last hunt should happen at some point.
