We’re going to get like 10 articles from Josh from this one interview aren’t we?

Sigh...

In all seriousness though, seeing New Asgard would have been cool. Shame they didn’t go for it.

@Nerdman3000 - New Asgard should factor into Doctor Strange 2.

It would be fun to see Peter, Korg and Miek together in New Asgard.

@Repian - It would be fun to see _______, Korg, and Miek together in ________.

I feel like that's a madlib with infinite answers.

My first thought was that he meant Oklahoma, like in the comics. Nobody wants to go to Oklahoma for vacation. It's called a "flyover state" for a reason.

They probably should've at least passed by.

I know that MCU references rub some people the wrong way when they're so in your face, but after a certain point the universe needs to be the universe and MCU references/landmarks need to be as normal as other references/landmarks. Makes the universe feel so much more real and lived in

Probably for the best... they're already dealing with the post-snap world in this one, aren't they? You still want some grounding in the real world to keep it all from getting too disconnected from reality.

Spider-man is one of the few characters in the MCU who is keeping one foot grounded in regular civilian life... taking his supporting cast to a fictional city of displaced god aliens kind of undermines that.

Too bad it didn't happen. Because public high school students from Queens have wealthy parents that can pay for them to visit, during summer vacation, countries all over Europe, so a stop in Norway (New Asgard) would have been fantastic.

@GeneralZod - ...public high school students...

Midtown School of Science and Technology is almost certainly not a public school.

@GeneralZod - doesn't he got to a special STEM high school? They have all kinds of stipulations for low income students who may be on scholarship.

Schools must ensure that they inform parents on low income of the support available when asking for contributions towards the cost of school trips. If the school has a budget for paying for a student's field trip if their parents can't pay, then they can take care of it.

@Spock0Clock - Since when does Peter Parker go to a private school?
Spock0Clock

@GeneralZod - Well, what do you consider public school, I guess. MSST seems like a charter school (i.e. not run by the government, but also theoretically open to all students). Such a school may well have funds or donors or sponsors for school trips like this.

From what I've heard of this movie, I'm really impressed with Watts, the writers and cast for making a post-Endgame movie so effortlessly... before Endgame even released.

Like seriously, they started writing this in 2017? IW and EG weren't even finished filming yet, and there were so many moving parts and ramifications on the MCU that they were forced to consider when coming up with the story. And again from what I've heard, it has to acknowledge a lot and they still got a great movie out of it.

Kudos to everyone involved. People talk about MCU movies being tied down to the shared universe aspect sometimes-- well, this would be a prime example of that. But they did it.

Could make for at least a fun and interesting One-Shot, if they are planning on reviving them.
