Spider-Man: Far From Home is now in theaters but the final trailer for the movie has only just been released! As you may recall, this found its way online in the form of a bootleg version a number of weeks ago but we finally have it in HD and while it's mostly made up of previously seen footage, it's still well worth watching.

What's particularly interesting is the fact that it includes a fair few scenes not in the movie, including Aunt May asking Peter Parker if he successfully managed to take down the Manfredi family.

Those of you who are comic book fans will be well aware that that's a reference to Silverman and Spider-Man: Far From Home director Jon Watts recently told us that's going to be included on the eventual Blu-ray released as a short film. "It's all the things he has to do before he goes on the trip," the filmmaker revealed.

"[Those] are going to Delmar's to get a dual headphone adaptor and one of those European travel plugs, he has to go to a pawn shop to sell his Star Wars toys to get money for the trip, he has to pick up his passport, and he has to take down this giant crime syndicate. That's just the to-do list for someone like him but that will be its own little short film that we're going to put on the Blu-ray."

Check out the final trailer - and our interview with Watts - in the players below:

I hate the trailers like this, spoils a good chunk of what's in the movie, pretty much a basic plot summary minus the last 3rd. Sigh. Sony get your shit together with trailers please?

They showed so much and I still wasn't prepared for that third act. They may have released a lot of footage, but they were VERY deceptive in marketing Jake's Mysterio, pretty much only showed the smallest portion of his role. Loved this film, classic Spidey action galore.

Sorry but I kept Ror's review in mind going into this last night and I couldn't disagree more. That review was akin to Josh Wilding shitting on a DC film for 2 pages. Just full of whining and hyperbole. "Spider-Man is literally useless and crying for help in every action sequence" "I knew Mysterio was going to be a villain" "Mysterio lied about the multiverse and I was shocked and disappointed".

Mysterio was used perfectly here and all the comic book knowledge we have should've given you a hint this guy was full of shit since that multiverse line got dropped in the trailer, yeah I knew he was a villain and a con artist, but showing him deceiving people for half a movie and then dropping the mask in the most bombastic and Mysterio-way possible was a treat to watch. I thought the action was great and not forgettable, leaps and bounds above Homecoming, along with the web-swinging. Spidey was capable and used his intellect to take down threats, not to mention the jaw-dropping illusion sequences and one on one fights between Spidey and Mysterio.

I like the idea of the multiverse but I honestly never got my hopes up too high because it came out of Mysterio's mouth only, consider the source. I thought this movie sold me on this iteration after I was left wanting more after Homecoming even though I liked it a lot. This one is just barely right under Spider-Man 2 for my favorite.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - Don't forget to announce spoilers. This is just an article about a trailer and this movie JUST came out.

Going back to your comment. I couldn't agree more. All points you mentioned were spot on. (Except for SM2. I enjoyed this much more.)

Folks, you've gotta stop expecting these movies to be replications of the comics. They do respect the source material. But beyond that, it's all original storytelling. The sooner you grasp that, the sooner you'll relinquish the feeling of unnecessary and unwarranted disappointment in order to enjoy these films for what they are meant to be.
