In order to make that date things would have to go without a hitch. Obviously everybody would have to be back to work but beyond that nobody key has to be replaced and nobody refuses to work and even then I think it's iffy.

Wouldn't Uncharted have to resume principle photography first? They shut that film down on day one, so wouldn't Holland be contractually obligated to finish filming it before he does this? Since that filming was delayed, it'd have a knock-on effect on delaying the filming for this too, surely.

@tmp3 - Not impossible. Keanu Reeves is doing John Wick 3 & Matrix 4 same time. Both films have the same may 21 2021 release date too.

@tmp3 - I'm pretty sure Sony would postpone Uncharted to get Spider-man out sooner, even they are smart enough to know Spidey is guaranteed bank far more than Uncharted.

@tmp3 - Uncharted got delayed to Late 2021, so that means Spider-Man 3 would now be the priority given that would be coming first

@LongMayHeReign - I want Uncharted to never come out, but I think contractual obligations would mean it'd have to shoot when lockdown is over; since day one of filming was when everything got locked down

@tmp3 - Pretty sure Sony will look to renegotiate these contracts to prioritize Spider-man.

I don't care if this movie is delayed, as long at it is has Kraven, Scorpion and Matt Murdock

I'm thinking it will definitely get delayed.

Hopefully everything goes well and they meet that shooting date. I read earlier a tweet saying that cinema companies could be considering to re-open around late July as well.

@NinnesMBC - US is not going to peak till the earliest of late July, no chance that cinema's reopen in July.

Doing so is basically asking for a second wave. The reality is that studios are lying about when the films will be out because it would scare investors if they told them "we may not be able to release this in cinema at all because cinema chains may no longer exist"
