A werewolf movie set in space could be cool but Solo just seems like a Punisher who can teleport

@polarkyle - I did. Quite stoked. Read all the Man-Wolf stories in ASM as a kid.

@polarkyle - The fact that they are obscure does not necessarily mean that they are bad characters. Why couldn't good movies be made out of them?

Wasn't it a Star Wars movie from a couple years ago?

I don’t know how interested I would be in a Man-Wolf movie but Solo is a character that totally works on his own in a movie. But seriously where are Black Cat, Silver Sable and Nightwatch? Those are the ones (of the characters Sony has the rights to) that most scream for their own movies besides Spider-Woman.

Just try not to make movies that stink. Marvel has taken the obsure and made it sublime.

@WeaponXCII - Why not? The worse it could happen is we get a bad Man-Wolf or Solo movie, would people care that much? In the positive scenario, two obscure characters become relevant.

@Urubrodi - Why not? I suppose that's a good point. I don't want to sound too authoritarian and restrictive, but I think that mentality really lowers the bar on what kind of movies we would get. Maybe we should ask ourselves (and I know this would bring up the whole mess of what "real art" is), "Why should this exist?", not "Why should it not?"

And I think "The worst that could happen is we get a bad movie." is a really myopic view of it- especially when looking at the Spider-Man situation as a whole.

Lastly, sure, we could get the "positive scenario", but how often have we gotten that with Sony? "The evidence speaks for itself".
