Aussie actress Margot Robbie got her big break in Martin Scorsese's Wolf of Wall Street, but she's now poised to become a household name with leading roles in two huge releases set to hit theaters over the next couple of months: Suicide Squad and The Legend of Tarzan.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Robbie discusses everything from her TV debut on Australian series Neighbors, to her first experiences in Hollywood, to her highly anticipated role as Harley Quinn in the upcoming DCEU film.

“She loves causing mayhem and destruction,” Robbie says of her psychotic character. “She’s incredibly devoted to the Joker. They have a dysfunctional relationship, but she loves him anyway. She used to be a gymnast — that’s her skill set when fighting.” Harley's acrobatics are glimpsed in the trailers, but it'll be interesting to see her utilize those skills in combat.

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, with Raymond Olubawale as King Shark, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, and Adam Beach as Slipknot. Directed by David Ayer.
