OK, so it's only Dean Cain of the romance focused TV series Lois & Clark. But a super endorsement nonetheless.

Got to meet Rick Perry last year and film one of his speeches at a fundraiser, seemed like an all right guy, I"m just not much into politics.
AlibiBreakfast - 9/23/2011, 10:56 AM
Rick Perry represents the American Taliban. Superman would never endorse a far-right religious fanatic who couldn't care less about helping the little guy.
Powergirl - 9/23/2011, 10:56 AM
Prettynuclear,
And how are you're so SURE he was innocent? Did the jury on two different trials get it wrong? Sheesh, what a bleeding heart lib!
Powergirl - 9/23/2011, 10:58 AM
Alibi,
The American Taliban? I'm so sick of you anti-american, anti-christian dorks. Get over your envy and get a job.

@prettynuclear all through out history that has happened also how many murders go free or are never caught. The justice system is not perfect but its the best possible one we got. Casey Anthony killed her child to go party and she went free. How is that for justice.
Powergirl - 9/23/2011, 11:05 AM
prettynuclear,
And your evidence is... what exactly?

He was convicted in a court of law with 12 jurors, appealed and found guilty again, reviewed by a judge prior to execution and found guilty again. I think 3 strikes and your out works in this case.

Try reading something instead of spouting the party line. You look stupid:
Troy Davis was GUILTY - The Washington Post
NorrinRaddical - 9/23/2011, 11:06 AM
well he is anti gay marriage, anti stem cel research, thinks climate change is rubbish, fought to force teaching creationism in school, and he filled a stadium full of people to pray --- PRAY --- for rain. that's insane to me. and much too much to the right than we need right now. plus, if you're watching the debates, you can see he's not at a presidential level. the GOP don't really have any great hopes, but at least Romney can take a punch and give one back.
Greengo - 9/23/2011, 11:06 AM
COMICS>POLITICS
Jordanstine - 9/23/2011, 11:10 AM
YUCK.

Rick Perry = a bum on immigration politics.

He gave his home state of Texas the ability to grant scholarships to illegal immigrants up to $100,000 per illegal students.

But this same scholarship is not available to US Citizens.

WTF???
rbfn04 - 9/23/2011, 11:11 AM
@Powergirl guilty or not, superman wouldn't endorse a guy who is in favor of the death penalty.

and eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, and all that
McGribble - 9/23/2011, 11:13 AM
This should shape up to be an interesting thread... Hearing Cane back a GOP candidate makes me glad I went back and watched all the old Lois and Clark episodes.

I think Perry is ok, I am honestly really a fan of Herman Cane though. We need a business minded guy in office. The umber one problem is the economy and who better to fix it than I guy who knows how to make a buck. I also like Ron Paul if it where not for his stance on Iran. Gingrich is a solid candidate and I love how he is not bashing any of the other candidates. Hunstman speaks as though he is a shifty guy. Something about him I do not trust. Santorum is a stand up guy and I like his ideas. He may have issues with moderates though. Bachman in my opinion is not ready. She has the right ideas, but she is just not ready.

All that aside, anyone one of the GOP candidates would be better than what we have now. For the life of me I can not figure out why people still support Obama.
Gusto - 9/23/2011, 11:15 AM
Umm...he's the Gov. of Texas.
Davis was iced in Georgia...
Greengo - 9/23/2011, 11:16 AM
I agree with Rbfn04 and Jordanstine.

No mo freebies for breaking the law!!!!
Dmon - 9/23/2011, 11:16 AM
@rbfn04 yeah that really works in the comics the villains are out the next month killing people.
TheAmarilloBlack - 9/23/2011, 11:17 AM
@Greengo
Word.

@Powergirl
Don't insult someone's viewpoint as towing a party line, call them stupid and tell them to read something, then post a link to a clearly slanted OPINION article.
Now you look stupid and like your towing the GOP's party line.

Oh, and Perry is clearly religious extremist and opportunist. It's not about being anti-American, anti-Christian, and certainly not envious. It's about being able to see the world for what it is and recognizing the bullshit therein.
Greengo - 9/23/2011, 11:18 AM
@Dmon: same if they're killed.
MrOldboy - 9/23/2011, 11:18 AM
people, people why all the hate for fellow comic lovers? we should all come together...and agree that michele bachmann is a nutbag.
selinakyle - 9/23/2011, 11:18 AM
Superman would never endorse a grandstanding fool. Maybe the new 52 superman...
Gelfling - 9/23/2011, 11:19 AM
rick perry is an awful man RON PAUL 2012! Americas last hope if you dont agree you are definately short sighted and mentally retarded!
HeavenlyDark - 9/23/2011, 11:20 AM
I'm gonna simply say I love watching politics.

I mean when else can i watch two people fight so much about what should be done that they get nothing done(or nothing done quickly).
Gelfling - 9/23/2011, 11:20 AM
on MOX news! give me a break! Fox news is the devil incarnate!
TheAmarilloBlack - 9/23/2011, 11:20 AM
@Jordanstine
School them.
Powergirl - 9/23/2011, 11:21 AM
rbfn04,
WTF? "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind?" You sound like a HUGE pussy. Where have all the real men gone? If you can't execute a thrice convicted cop killer, then the world is doomed to be overrun with murderers and the whiny ass babies who don't have the balls to mete out righteous judgement upon them. I'd bet you'd feel differently if this guy was let go and then moved next door to YOUR family.
Dmon - 9/23/2011, 11:24 AM
Actually on the death penalty I think it should be a lot more personal let the victims families pull the switch.
selinakyle - 9/23/2011, 11:25 AM
@Powergirl,
Real men? lol you will have better luck finding a unicorn. As far as capital punishment is concerned, i dont have an issue with it...as long as guilt has being proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Personally, i think sex offenders deserve capital punishment...but that's just me.
Powergirl - 9/23/2011, 11:26 AM
TheAmarilloBlack,
That was just 1 article relating the FACT that the guy had three opportunites to prove he was innocent, all of which failed to convince a judge and jury. If you want to turn a blind eye to the facts, then I should call YOU stupid.
Dmon - 9/23/2011, 11:27 AM
@SelinaKyle Me too. Because sex offenders crimes can have a lot more repercussions then a simple shooting death.
McGribble - 9/23/2011, 11:28 AM
I love people bashing Fox... Gelfling, have you ever even watched Fox? People confuse the opinion shows like Hannity and news. The standard news section of the network is better than any other. They ask hard questions to all who should be help accountable. Brett Bear is better than anyone any other network can offer.
juggy4711 - 9/23/2011, 11:30 AM
Perry, Romeny, Obama. IT doesn't really matter who the next President is. None of them will shrink the government.
rbfn04 - 9/23/2011, 11:30 AM
@Powergirl gee, i dunno, Ghandi seemed like a real man..

Also, if you kill ONE innocent it makes death penalty not worth it..

But, it seems that if I'm not okay with killing I'm not a real man. LOL, kay...
Greengo - 9/23/2011, 11:32 AM
@TheGODDAMNSUPERGUY:

Superman is from Kansas. He's conservative and a bit of a prude.

He is definitely not a liberal.

Lex Luthor is like George Soros.
DioFoRio - 9/23/2011, 11:35 AM
Barack Obama...worse case of shoulder crabs in human history
TheAmarilloBlack - 9/23/2011, 11:36 AM
@Powergirl
That's the beauty of the free speech, isn't it? You CAN call me whatever you want, just like I CAN and WILL report you for name calling. (sensitive republican)

It's funny how YOU don't acknowlege the fact that MOST of the jurors in the original trail recanted their testimony and there was no evidence to implicate him as the trigger man. But, alas, Troy Davis is dead and nothing we say can bring him back.

It's really hilarious that you're up here spouting all this rhetoric and earlier you were calling people Anti-Christian. Do you honestly think Jesus Christ (Yahshua, praise be upon him) endorses the death penalty? Really? If so, you should get off this site and read a book or two yourself.
SkaarJones - 9/23/2011, 11:37 AM
Dean Cain=Worst Superman ever (since Nick Cage didn't get to play the role.)

@Powergirl-You must not know the facts. He was convicted using witness testimony. Seven of nine witnesses all wished to recant their statements claiming police coercion. The Governor wanted the execution stopped, but did not have the power to do so.
Greengo - 9/23/2011, 11:40 AM

Lion-looin thingy: TheGODDAMNSUPERGUY is clueless!
Greengo - 9/23/2011, 11:40 AM
*lookin
juggy4711 - 9/23/2011, 11:40 AM
I'd like to point out that this Davis individual was not executed in Texas, however we did on the same day grease a scum bag that drug a man to death behind his truck.
luffycapri - 9/23/2011, 11:41 AM
Ron Paul 2012
selinakyle - 9/23/2011, 11:41 AM
Jurors cant testify. Witnesses testify.
TheAmarilloBlack - 9/23/2011, 11:41 AM
@SkarrJones
School them!
Dmon - 9/23/2011, 11:42 AM
@rbfn04 Maurice Clemmons and Jimmy Lee Page to name a few were let go to kill again. Was that worth it. I don't think you know what real evil is. Go look up a video called 3 guys one hammer to see what evil really is.
TheAmarilloBlack - 9/23/2011, 11:42 AM
Witnesses, not jurors, excuse my typo

Thanks, Selina.
TheAmarilloBlack - 9/23/2011, 11:43 AM
@Dmon
Is that the thing with the monkey in the table from Faces of Death?
Pony - 9/23/2011, 11:45 AM
I don’t see a savior in the group of republicans but I think any one of them will be better than Obama. I’m from Illinois and I can tell you Obama in his brief 2 years as a U.S. Senator (the other 2 years were campaigning for president) didn’t do anything for our state besides help lead us into deeper debt. I warned friends from other parts of the country that having a politician from Illinois is going to be a disaster, and I can admit that I was wrong…it has been a giant disaster. All they know how to do is spend money and kick the can down the road.
