How is Griff not a troll he comments on polls and most likely hasn't seen the movie which is phenomenal by the way but this ass comes on here and says everything is shit but isn't considered a troll?
Kingdork - 7/22/2012, 5:03 AM
Whatever grif says ^^
RorMachine - 7/22/2012, 5:04 AM
He is considered a troll. But he's been around a while so we just tolerate him. Plus, he can be amusing sometimes.
Kingdork - 7/22/2012, 5:05 AM
@YsoSerious - Why so serious? Grif is entertaining and straight to the point. "Shit movie", he leaves it at that and moves on. He's the cutest most lovable troll ever! XD
jedibasswatson - 7/22/2012, 5:10 AM
Batman 4 vs penguin and another bomb that blows up Gotham shock tactic
ScottScottScott - 7/22/2012, 5:10 AM
I'm in the vast minority of people that hated this movie. It makes me sad because I so want to like it,but I just can't. The beginning, The Alfred thing, and the End just makes my inner nerd rage boil over. :(
ImnotDaredevil - 7/22/2012, 5:13 AM
Loved it & a fitting end to a cracking trilogy. Couldn't help but think of the T.V. Series Batman running around holding that bomb though!
R888 - 7/22/2012, 5:15 AM
Awesome and great ending to the trilogy, THANK YOU NOLAN
Now do the same with superman
AthleticoPathetico - 7/22/2012, 5:16 AM
This movie was fantastic. Sure it suffered in places but it was excellent. The next movie should be JGL becoming Nightwing as he doesn't feel he has earned the Mantle yet. Blackmask should take over the city resembling a resurgence in the mob mirroring Bruce's struggle in BB
UltimaRex - 7/22/2012, 5:17 AM
grif hasn't been entertaining for months now. I say he should do something funny soon or get banned. We don't need negativity like this now.
graveyardtramp - 7/22/2012, 5:22 AM
I've seen it twice so far and will probably see it one more time during its cinema run - probably at the Melbourne IMAX.

I voted it as 'Very Good' - it certainly has moments of excellence but just not enough IMO to make it a truly great film. It needs about 20 minutes more of character/plot development and one more great action sequence along the lines of the Hong Kong scene in TDK. I also think sound more impactful sound effects would have improved the fight sequences.
longbowhunter - 7/22/2012, 5:35 AM
Liked it a lot. Going to see it again in a couple of hours.
GOTG - 7/22/2012, 5:40 AM
was very good but has too many plot holes to be excellent like the avengers
NeoBaggins - 7/22/2012, 5:42 AM
LMAO Comedian in the building.
Backbreaker904 - 7/22/2012, 5:46 AM
In my opinion best comic movie ever. Please let's not start a marvel and do war bcuz I'm a fan of both
jessepostal - 7/22/2012, 6:06 AM
It's got it's highs and lows, bane was tits, every time he'd hit the screen my biatch would get creeped out. That's a very good thing
OrsonRandall - 7/22/2012, 6:10 AM
Very good, but a little far from excellent.
nikgrid - 7/22/2012, 6:11 AM
@kingdork -'s hard to have your own opinion isn't it? ;)
Intothepoop - 7/22/2012, 6:12 AM
grif still posts? i just glaze over him i suppose.
mikebunt - 7/22/2012, 6:17 AM
Hated it. Really wanted it to be good, but it had a terrible nonsensical plot that was almost identical to Dark Knight. And was boring. I love good character development over SFX and action, but this didn't seem to have either.
Varunn1602 - 7/22/2012, 6:19 AM
Like a guy above me said, the script had some unexpected highs and lows but not to an extent that it made the movie seem boring. I actually prefer the slow beginnings like in Batman Begins.

And I've had it with people complaining that Nolan's films are less about Batman and more about Bruce Wayne. I think what Nolan has done is that he has made all of Batman's actions justified by showing Bruce's psychological arc. It makes sense that he dresses up as a bat. Very few filmmakers can achieve that sense of naturalism in their films especially if it's a CBM. He shall be given credit for saving a film property such as Batman from drowning.

And please don't start off by saying that I'm a NOLANITE or something. I'm a movie-lover. I loved The Avengers and consider it as one of the best movies ever but I prefer TDKR as an overall piece of art.

As for grif, he's just the beginning. If anyone has a different opinion. I'M FINE WITH THAT. I don't want to fight over stuff like this. WE ALL ARE GAINING FROM THESE CBMs. So just be happy that we have lived to see the best year for CBMs yet!
TheOnlyFanOfSentry - 7/22/2012, 6:25 AM
The ending was Frick*ing Stupid
Nomadic1 - 7/22/2012, 6:28 AM
The worst of the far. Big letdown.
DarthBob - 7/22/2012, 6:31 AM

Crap movie, it sucked worse than I thought it would. It would have been nice if Nolan actually made this movie about Batman; I could care less for a movie about Bruce Wayne. It was boring. Bane was one of the worst villains ever in a CBM. They totally changed his back story for absolutely no reason. He was one dimensional and you couldn't understand half of his dialogue with that stupid mask on. I laughed out loud so hard when he punched a concrete pillar; come on Nolan, I thought this movie was grounded in reality. What's with all the boxing between Bane and Batman? We already saw Tom Hardy fighting in Warrior. The fight scenes were pathetically choreographed. There are better fights between Bane and Batman on youtube made by hack amateurs. What a shocker when Catwoman killed Bane, ridiculous. And the crowning achievement in absurdity, Robin John Blake. Robin? Are you freaking serious? This movie is an epic POS; obtuse, trite, dumb, stupid, pathetically awful. FU Nolan for bastardizing Batman with the crap movie. Thankfully he will not have any hand in any JLA movie because we would just get more epic garbage like TDKR.
BostonBatmanReturns - 7/22/2012, 6:33 AM
Amazing movie THANK YOU NOLAN
zbrownsville - 7/22/2012, 6:35 AM
All I can tell you is that when I left the theater on Friday morning after having seen TDKR I didn't really care if I saw it again. When I saw Avengers I was buzzed. I saw it three times!
GUTSBERSERK1 - 7/22/2012, 6:38 AM
TDKR Was awesome from start to finish.
redfacemick - 7/22/2012, 6:50 AM
I am sorry to say this film really let me down, tom hardy was the only good thing in a otherwise bad film

BlakeUsmcVet - 7/22/2012, 6:58 AM
@Darth Bob, I didn't have a problem with Bane's voice and this is coming from a guy whose hearing is shot to sh*t due to bombs.

I actually thought it was a great movie and left it open for another director to come in and pick up where JGL can become either Nightwing or Azrael. With his hot headed self and the way he took out the 2 construction workers, I can see him becoming Azrael.
CrimsonReign - 7/22/2012, 7:11 AM
Great movie, fantastic trilogy that will be o so fun to watch back to back to back.
inky - 7/22/2012, 7:18 AM
how do you relate this to a CBM omg read batman comics and find nolans bane in any shape or form nolans bane is nothing but a light wieght wannabe even robin could abuse him so to call this movie the best CBM ever shows lack of being able to realise what a CBM is and adam wasts batman back in the 1960's wasby far one of the great CBM's this is an action film using comic book namesand places thats all, its a very good action movie with great plot twists etc but its no CBM sorry batman nolan fans
inky - 7/22/2012, 7:21 AM
damned dyslexic fingers i meant west not wast but that said nolans fisrt batman was very good the second was good this ones bad, thankfully not a fourth as we realy dont need a bombing at a cinima
CaptainAmerica31 - 7/22/2012, 7:23 AM
One of the greatest trilogies of all time, it's up there with LOTR and Star Wars.
RaleighAntrobus - 7/22/2012, 7:29 AM
I thought it was good, not great.
Hewillrises0609 - 7/22/2012, 7:29 AM
Varunn1602 ...I agree with you brother:-) great movie Oscar
SuperSomething616 - 7/22/2012, 7:30 AM
capMO - 7/22/2012, 7:39 AM
okay, I gotta ask: where does this TDKR = thinking movie come from? seriously, I dont see it, I think it was pretty damn straight forward and far from a film you gotta pay extra attention to? somebody earlier said: TDKR = thinking man's Avengers, how exactly? people said the same thing about TDK and while I'd be more liable to agree with that, it was also a simple and easy to follow movie imo.. So what, is the majority of the audience just easy-to-impress/stupid since the general consent seems to be that these films are "thinking" films..
OrganizedChaos - 7/22/2012, 7:47 AM
great "movie", good way to end the trilogy. But as a "Comic-book movie" its ok
rocky - 7/22/2012, 7:58 AM
Nolan's Batman is just too dumb. He's not a detective and not a genius in anything at all. It still saddens me when in Begins Lucius tells him how he made the antidote and Bruce asks if he's supposed to understand anything he said. Batman is a goddam Sherlock Holmes to the 10th power.

Nolan's Batman is weak. Hiding for years, moping for a dead ex-girlfriend and sitting by for 8 years. Batman is all about the mission and nothing would keep him from that. If anything he would refocus on what needs to be done.

So yeah Nolan made some decent crime/dramas but he raped Batman, and this definitely isn't a CBM in my book. At least not a proper Batman CBM
And he was Batman for what, like a year at most maybe a little longer. No no no, Bruce is Batman first and Bruce is his disguise.

Thank you Nolan but you have overstayed your welcome. On to something else, you're a good director but if you can't grasp the character stay away
OmanTortuga - 7/22/2012, 8:00 AM
It was a really good movie to a really good trilogy. Only complaints I have are that Bane is under 200 pounds and that he sounded like Marty McFly wearing a Darth Vader helmet.... But I got over those 2 small issues early in the movie and enjoyed and awesome movie!

Wont lie, the Avengers was hands down best movie of the summer for me... but this is another great comic summer for us fans with Batman, Avengers, Spiderman, and Dred!
