"That script saw the shredder a long time ago."

Michael Bay made a short but clear statement at his official discussion forum about the recently leaked Ninja Turtles script:

"The leaked script for Ninja Turtles that different sites continue to comment on was written well before I, or anyone at Platinum Dunes, was involved with the project.

That script saw the shredder a long time ago.

This is tired, old news -- Wait for the movie!

Michael"

Michael Bay: Damage Control Extraordinaire.

Whoa hold on a second it was announced in May 27, 2010 that Michael Bay and Platinum Dunes would produce Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and it was said they would begin meetings with writers in the next few weeks.

This script is from January, 30, 2012, nearly two years after Bay and co got involved, and Bay was talking about the Turtles being aliens on March, 16, 2012 almost 2 months after. So either Bay is lying or the date and authors on the script are a lie.

What a crock o sh!T! Mr. Bay, sir, you are a liar!
xfan320 - 8/30/2012, 12:33 AM
Ps- michael bay looks exactly like a young Clint Eastwood in that piic in the article.

I don't see what's the point of him lying. The point is that this script is not gonna happen. Isn't that what everyone here wanted?
Screwger - 8/30/2012, 2:50 AM
What a bullshit! The script is structured like Bay's Transformers, you know, teen meets aliens and saves the world and there is girl from his school that he likes( that's definitely Transformers with Turtles)!
AutobotCommander84 - 8/30/2012, 3:36 AM
Dear Michael Bay,

I feel your pain. Having to hear all of these annoying-as-hell fanboys whining about something they don't even know will happen just makes you want to blow up another city doesn't it?

Main point is, all of you people don't know shit and until we see an actual trailer, everyone whining just proves how childish you are.
AlexDeLarge87 - 8/30/2012, 3:55 AM
I knew this was gonna be good!xD
AlexDeLarge87 - 8/30/2012, 3:59 AM
Anyway i truelly hope he speaks the truth.
TYLERWINN - 8/30/2012, 4:52 AM

StrangerX - 8/30/2012, 5:16 AM
I give up

"Tired" and "Old"?

Sounds like your film-making style and reliance on Bay-Splosions™ over film-fundamentals like a decent screenplay Mr.Bay.

"The leaked script for Ninja Turtles that different sites continue to comment on was written well before I, or anyone at Platinum Dunes, was involved with the project."

I call bullshit on that. The date on the script is Janaury 30, 2012. That was probably the date the writers began writing it. So either Bay is a liar doing damage control or the writers began working on it at an earlier date, but somehow put the wrong date on it.

Which one do you think is more likely? Considering that this is the guy who said no more Transformers movies for him after the third.

Viral - 8/30/2012, 10:42 AM
I don't get it. All the whining people about the script now got a confirmation from the producer that this script won't be used. And they are whining now that he is lying?!? So they think that when the movie comes out it'll actually be from the leaked script?!? Seriously? Get a life. Does it really matter when the script was "shredded"?
CloydeSyfox - 8/30/2012, 11:18 AM
Name me one really good Bay film? Honestly can you do it?

Nuff Said.
AutobotCommander84 - 8/30/2012, 11:21 AM
Some people are true dumbasses. Like say, 75% of the dumbass [racial slur]s who are commenting on this shit right now.
AutobotCommander84 - 8/30/2012, 11:23 AM
@CloydeSyfox By good do you mean one that's had mostly good reviews? If so, then let's see, The Island, the first Transformers movie, and the third one didn't get as many negatives as the second.
Dantk - 8/30/2012, 11:44 AM
It matters because the same two guys wrote this script are still working on the film.
JULEZ13 - 8/30/2012, 11:52 AM
LOL. Yeaaahhhh right!

That's a load of bull! Of course HE'S gonna say that! FOH!!
sevenminus - 8/30/2012, 12:42 PM
Michael Bay says that script was written waaaay before he got involved in the project, despite the fact that he'd been involved for almost two years when the script was written.

You, Michael Bay, are a liar. Nice try changing history, though.

And no, we don't want to wait for the movie. Because by that time, it'll be too late.

@ CloydeSyfox

So you know how Bay feels? Please, tell me what it's like to be a big shot Hollywood director.
AutobotCommander84 - 8/30/2012, 6:39 PM
@CaptainObvious I know why you're called CaptainObvious, it's because you're obviously a douchebag who wants to instigate.
sevenminus - 8/30/2012, 9:18 PM
@AutobotCommander84: Look who's talking.
CloydeSyfox - 8/31/2012, 10:01 AM
