THE FLASH: A First Look At The Movie's Updated Logo Has Been Revealed THE FLASH: A First Look At The Movie's Updated Logo Has Been Revealed

Warner Bros. probably won't release the new trailer for The Flash that screened at CinemaCon last night online, but we do have a first look at the updated logo that opened the presentation.

Arguably the most talked-about footage to debut during Warner Bros.' CinemaCon presentation was the new trailer for The Flash. It'll probably be a while before we get to see it (or a theatrical version, at least) for ourselves, but a first look at the movie's updated logo has found its way online.

It's not a million miles away from the previous title treatment, but there are a few subtle differences to the color scheme and overall design.

The trailer itself is said to be mostly centered on Michael Keaton's Batman, with shots of "hermit" Bruce Wayne with long hair and a beard, The Dark Knight standing in front of several different Bat-suits, a powerful-looking Batcycle, and more. Then, right at the end, we see Keaton in-costume without his cowl as he repeats his iconic line from Tom Burton's Batman, "You wanna get nuts? Let's get nuts!"

The footage also confirmed an appearance from General Zod (Michael Shannon), and showed Supergirl (Sasha Calle) in action. Be sure to check out last night's live blog coverage for more.

Ezra Miller will reprise the role of Barry Allen (though it might well be for the last time), and the cast will also include Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

The Fastest Man Alive's first solo outing was recently pushed back from Nov. 4, 2022 to June 23, 2023.

Our lead may be a violent nut, but look at this slightly different font.

These are the right priorities.

@Spock0Clock - I mean, it's Hollywood. They've been employing these types since the start. I totally get recasting if the film wasn't already shot but this far along all they are gonna do is damage control and minimize the financial impact best they can. #MeToo was great and all but don't expect these business folks to change over night... or ever.

I like to believe WB had some predictive insight to cast Ezra Miller as the villain. What a twist it would be if they made him Reverse-Flash and get someone else as Barry.

@bkmeijer1 - I like it. They might even have time to reshoot that.

That's hardly news worthy.. but if anyone got a copy of the cinema con leaked footage?? That would be worth a click or 2.

@WruceBayne - And no luck so far I'm guessing?

I doubt WB will drop anything official until either mid summer or Christmas time when Avatar 2 gets butts in seats for maximum exposure. We'll sooner get the trailer for Shazam 2 though.

How am I supposed to root for the hero, when he's actively a villain in real life?

@KWilly - Compartmentalize.

@KWilly - Its called acting. He isnt playing Ezra Miller he is playing Flash. Fully intend to see Flash, Mera, and GOTG because its Flash, Mera, and Star-Lord.
Urubrodi

@Spagett - I think there is a limit to that. Knowing how shitty both Ezra and Amber are in real life can take you out of the experience a bit. It would be like rewatching stuff with Kevin Spacey nowadays, it wouldn't be the same knowing the stuff he used to do, no matter how good of an actor he is (which is not even the case for those 2).

@Urubrodi - Odd that you mentioned Kevin Spacey in this context…I just watched LA Confidential the other week for the first time in about 15 years or so… His whole storyline for Jack Vincennes involving the DA being a closeted homosexual who abuses innocent young men felt SUPER awkward through the entire movie…Really once the story reached that points I really couldn’t get the whole Kevin Spacey in real life aspect out of my head…

@GarthRanzz - Pratt may have questionable political and religious beliefs, but he's not hurting anyone. Whatever he does in his private life it's his problem. He shouldn't be put in the same context as those 2. Maybe replace him with someone like Will Smith, another DC/WB actor.

@GarthRanzz - Why the [frick] is Pratt lumped in with #Mepoo amber turd N that whiny violent nutjob? Not to mention the both of them have the combined acting chops of a potato...
GarthRanzz
GarthRanzz - 4/28/2022, 1:48 AM
@Waddles - Well Amber is crazy and Ezra is a violent drunk. Not saying either is good. Pratt at least hasnt been violent but belonging to a homophobe church isnt good.
GarthRanzz
GarthRanzz - 4/28/2022, 1:50 AM
@mpk1988 - Well people are threatening to boycott his projects and are demanding he be recast. He won't as James Gunn already said that, but people are currently trying to cancel him since he belongs to a homophobe church.

@Waddles - if I had a dollar for everytime Miller attacked someone one Hawaii, I'd have two dollars... And you know the rest of the quote.

As much as I don't like Miller's behaviour, he sure is a source to makes jokes about.
