In an effort to drum up as much interest as possible, Warner Bros. continues to hold preview screenings for The Flash across the world. If recent opening weekend estimates of $115 million - $140 million are any indication, it could pay off, though only time will tell whether the Scarlet Speedster has the legs to race to true box office success.

For now, we have a new still from the movie that puts the spotlight on both Barry Allens during The Flash's final battle.

Trailers have confirmed that we're seeing the 2013 and 2023 versions of the Fastest Man Alive here, with the former decked out in a modified Batsuit as he speeds into battle alongside his more experienced counterpart. They're squaring off with General Zod's army in a reality that has now Superman; luckily, Michael Keaton's Batman and Supergirl will be there to lend a helping hand.

Check out this new look at The Flash in the Tweet below.

Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to.

That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian...albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The movie stars Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton.

The Flash races into theaters on June 16.

Young Barry is wearing the ‘89 Batsuit with a cowl that Batman famously could not turn his head in, yet this image clearly shows he can.

Despite all the out-of-this world, fantastical elements inherent in any superhero movie, my suspension of disbelief can only go so far.

Big unknowns will Audiences be turned off because the Flash is part of the Synder-verse which was a complete failure. Can a Snyder-Flash sell tickets? Did the General Audience really want a Snyder-Flash movie? Audiences not fans.

All Snyder-Verse movies bombed at the box office except for Wonder Woman did 822 million.

Aside from the usual caveat that word of mouth will be crucial for a comic book film to avoid sharp front-loading these days, The Flash has the added weight of two key elements: Ezra Miller’s well-publicized legal entanglements, and the general ambiguity of DC films as this film features characters from the “Zack Snyder-verse” at a time when fandom is well aware of major reboots ahead under James Gunn’s burgeoning leadership.

@AllsGood - we got a Snyder Aquaman right?

@CAPTAINPINKEYE - No studio will hire Miller.

Actor Ezra Miller is getting mental health treatment after a series of brushes with the law. "Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment," Miller said in a statement.

@AllsGood - why are telling this stuff about his personal life? I don’t care. You asked if a Snyder Flash can sell tickets. I just said, “ well we got an Snyder Aquaman.”

I don’t care if he makes anymore movie after this. I’ve only seen him in the movie Trainwreck and these DC movies.

@CAPTAINPINKEYE - Yes two but Aquaman 2 is having its own serious issues to deal with.

@AllsGood - I don’t know. I haven’t seen it. Just saying that we got a Snyder Aquaman movie. Which I thought was bad and it made 1 billion. So I was just using that logic about the Snyder Flash movie.

@AllsGood - Aquaman didn’t bomb. It made a billion. Some how. And some will say MoS did okay. Underperformed but not a bomb.

But with that said, I’m pretty confident the audience has little interest in the DCEU.

Barry II's modified suit doesn't fare well against Zod's forces whereas Batman and the canon Barry appear to hold themselves better going by the picture.

And yeah they're doing preview screenings all over, even known Flash youtuber Pagey went to one in Australia. I guess that is smart considering Ezra is personan non grata in, well, everywhere.

But their clear attempts in making other celebs praise the movie is really pathetic.
