"The Flash" Movie Going at a Snail's Pace

Producer Charles Roven admits that making a movie about the fastest man alive is slow going.
While promoting TDK, the producer revealed that there are still plans at WB for The Flash--that the film was still on the books, but had hit delays due to various union strikes.

"David Dobkin is still directing," Roven says, "though I can't even begin to talk about it, because we're not even writing it yet."

Roven explains "The writer's strike and possible actor's strike has definitely slowed down the development process," he admits. "We're hopeful of course it's still going to happen."
