Filming took place yesterday for season 3 of The Flash, revealing the arrival of a mysterious new speedster. Now, the man behind the mask has been revealed to be Vampire Diaries star Todd Lasance.

Yesterday, the first official images of The Flash's Keiynan Lonsdale suited up as Kid Flash were released before filming began in Vancouver. While on set, Lonsdale was spotted wearing his new Kid Flash outfit alongside Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, and a mysterious new speedster that bares a striking resemblance to DC Comic's Black Racer.
Now, it appears that the man behind the mask has been identified as none other than The Vampire Diaries alum Todd Lasance. Fans recognized the actor after he was seen removing his mask while on set. There hasn't been any official announcement yet, but it's safe to say that Lasance has joined the cast as the mysterious new speedster.
