Punisher War Zone was an excellent representation of the character.

Punisher War Zone was far better than 2004 Punisher. But lately Marvel News doesn't get me excited and hyped since TASM. What I hate about Marvel movies is that they want their movies to be Comedy instead of a pure action rated-R film.

Ray as The Punisher was great,very intimidating. His size & scary voice.
I think once again it was a poor script & directing.

Tom Jane did a good job but even pumped up is too small to be Frank.
Ray should be The Punisher again but needs a good creative team making the movie.

I agree with Jollem for once.

Punisher was Zone was the best one yet. Stevenson WAS Castle there. It felt like reading the comics.

What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Punisher War Zone was crap! Given what they did to Pittsy and Ink (turning them into Paul Giamatti and some kid) and the removal of Cavella in favor of Jigsaw just because he's more of a typical comic book villain was absurd. Then they throw in Maginty just because of the free-running set piece.

The only good things that movie had going for it were Ray Stevenson, the Tim Bradstreet poster and violence. Otherwise it failed to capture the essence of the story it was based on.

And I really thought Lexi Alexander had it covered after Greenstreet Hooligans.

Couldn't even shake my head about that movie.

loved him as the punisher,war zone is a guilty pleasure of mine.

as for volstagg,the less said about this the better.

I don't know why they keep asking these supporting character actors if they are going to be in the Avengers movies. We know they are not.
If Hopkins as Odin isn't in them, then the warriors three certainly will not be either.
I suppose a surprise cameo from everyone in like Avengers 3 or something would be cool, but I still don't see it happening.

I've read punisher comics since I started with comics back in the 90's, "Punisher War Zone" with Ray Stevens was EXACTLY what punisher has always been. Perfect casting and the movie was bloody as hell. Storyline was ehh but casting, portrayment and overall feel of the movie was perfect! If you think otherwise then you probably haven't read Punisher comics.

Dude would make a solid Cable in the upcoming X-Force film. He looked a lot like him in Dexter when he was sporting gray hair.

Ray Stevnson was a good Punisher in a really bad movie. He was the only redeeming quality of that movie. I think Thomas Jane should be the Punisher if they make another movie. Ray Stevnson would be great as the voice of the Punisher in a Punisher Max Animated Feature.

He voiced the Punisher on the Super Hero Squad and his voice is extremely awesome and would be great in a serious animated Punisher adaptaion.
