Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

The concept art looks great. I haven't played the game though.

Always enjoy some concept art!

I had a lot of fun with this game, wonder if an 'Arkham City' sequel will be announced at next year's E3, on the next gen?

Great concept art, the visuals in the Arkham games are all fantastic, really my favourite adaptation of Batman outside of the comics, really hope they use the games as an influence for new films. Can't wait to see what Rocksteady do with the proper Arkham 3

I'd definitely say so, imagine the main reason Origins was even made was so Rocksteady could develop the game for three years on next-gen (current gen I guess now) and still have an "Arkham" game released...were rumours it'd be a bit different, but after City, think they need to do a proper sequel, really expect at least a trailer at E3 2014

I hope so, I'm ready for it man, i remember Kevin Conroy earlier this year announcing he was working on the next "Arkham..."

I like the idea of an 'Arkham series' influence on future films! I would actually be very interested in an animation movie...not cartoony...but of the quality the cutscenes were in the game....certainly save on a live action budget, yet allows more freedom with what they could accomplish on screen. An 'Arkham Animation/CGI movie' could be the cutscenes in order on Youtube gives you a taste of what could be achieved...

Yeah I remember that too, think they've been working on it for sure. Can't wait! Loved City so much, one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had :D

That'd be awesome for sure! The cgi trailers for all three games were fantastic, really like the Hugo Strange one for City, and whole Deathstroke vs Batman trailer for origins was very well great to see a whole film like that, could make for a perfect Batman film, like you said a lot more freedom as well. Gotham could look perfectly like Gotham, it'd be great, love to see someone try it, think it could do really well

Terrible game. If you absolutely NEED to play it, I'd recommend just renting it or borrowing it from a friend. It's pretty much a bad DLC for Arkham City. The only thing that kept me playing was the story, but as soon as I was finished with that, I never put the game back in my PS3. This is probably going to be the first Arkham game I'm not going after a Platinum trophy for. Hopefully Rocksteady announces a new game at VGX on Saturday.
