Ed Boon introduced today at the EVO 2013 (Evolution Championship Series) the new DLC character for the fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us. Expected by many, Martian Manhunter will soon be available for download. This DLC also brings a John Stewart Green Latern skin, with some new dialogue. No release date has been announced yet. Check the trailer with both of them below:

What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat? From the indomitable DC Comics and the makers of the definitive fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat comes Injustice: Gods Among Us, a bold fighting game featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale. A deep, original story compliments the fighting action that pits many of the great heroes and villains from the DC universe against each other -- Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others lose their allegiances and fight for Injustice!

*yawn* I'll get Injustice later this year with Lobo and Scorpion. These other dlc's look meh. Dad recently bought Deadpool for his PS3 and I almoalmost have it beat. Top five superhero games

1) Marvel Ultimate Alliance
2) Deadpool
3) Batman Arkham Asylum
4) Batman Arkham City (Batman tends to switch places a lot)
5) Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions

whats up with the way MM stands. it looks kind of goofy
Jollem - 7/14/2013, 3:49 PM
the deadpool game? meh

GI Rating
6.00

Concept:
Marvel Comics’ insane super-mutant breaks the fourth wall in a game that struggles with the majority of its gameplay, yet ends up strangely fascinating for some of its ridiculous content

Graphics:
Although most of the action happens on Genosha, High Moon offers a variety of locations in the region. Character models showcase fluid animations and a nice level of detail

Sound:
Nolan North knocks Deadpool’s voice out of the park, not only voicing Wade Wilson but the two voices in his head as well. The soundtrack doesn’t jump out, and is often blanketed by Deadpool’s blabbering

Playability:
All combat avenues lead to repetition or frustration. Melee is easy to grasp, but shallow. The gunplay is often messy and lacking precision

Entertainment:
Deadpool slogs along, dishing out something hilarious or weird every so often. It’s not so much for comic fans, but for people who enjoy absurd things

Replay:
Low

just not digging the designs nether realms puts out.
Jollem - 7/14/2013, 3:53 PM
well, there are many different skins for the characters
DioFoRio - 7/14/2013, 3:55 PM
yeah . I feel ya. It's just they all seem really clunky. I hope they make a DC game in the future that is "animated" like. Not necessarily 2d but more of a comicy feel.
DioFoRio - 7/14/2013, 3:56 PM
I don't thin I'm making myself clear. The models , the texture , it just seems clunky. The way the designs are applied look weird to me.
Jollem - 7/14/2013, 4:02 PM
i can see that. the game looks good in motion when you're playing the game. well, to me, at least
BlackIceJoe - 7/14/2013, 4:03 PM
This is cool to see both J'onn & John. I can't wait to see who will be added next.
Jollem - 7/14/2013, 4:06 PM
i thought it was funny how they had mm get hit with the fire
DioFoRio - 7/14/2013, 4:07 PM
@jollem...that's the one thing I did notice. When in motion it almost looks like a different game. Def looks better.

@Levi ..hell yeah, but no crossover characters just all DC.would be nuts!
EdgyOutsider - 7/14/2013, 4:24 PM
@Jollem: You must've looked for a different game. I wasn't looking for innovative combat or amazing graphics. Just a good fun Deadpool game. That's exactly what I got. More content is the only complaint I have, could've used more content.

@Levi: SD has that special something that US doesn't besides four Spider-Men. Arkham games are fun but kept me busy for a weekend and definitely have some replay value. Even though two of the best superhero games out there, I eventually just dick arpund on free roam until i get hored and go back to story mode. I don't go for the special challenges or anything.
LucasMend - 7/14/2013, 4:26 PM
I'm guessing this is the last dlc then right? good, by the end of the year, when I buy my ps3, I hope that GOTY edition is out already so I'll buy that :)
LucasMend - 7/14/2013, 4:26 PM
HOLY SHIT JON STEWART TOO
LucasMend - 7/14/2013, 4:29 PM
I'm thinking that john stewart might be just a green lantern skin instead of another dlc character. you can see that he uses the same exactly powers that hal jordan character, so I don't think they would add another character with the SAME exactly powers. It's Just a skin.
anthonyEstark - 7/14/2013, 4:39 PM
Go Idris Elba as John Stewart!
EdgyOutsider - 7/14/2013, 4:49 PM
@BRN: No, to me Marvel Ultimate Alliance is the best superhero game. Sorry to not join the crowd and society and have the same opinion as everyone else.
LucasMend - 7/14/2013, 4:55 PM
wtf, deadpool in a top 5 comic book games list?

From the ones I played:
1)Arkham Asylum
2)Spider-Man 2
3)X-Men Legends 1 and 2
4)MUA
and maybe Injustice in 5. Haven't played Arkham City yet.
DEATHbyEXILE - 7/14/2013, 5:01 PM

[frick] john stewart. ohh this game has no blacks. Why not Kyle? or [frick]ing Guy. i hate Guy, but ill take him anyday over John. he has no personality. i killed, i feel bad. i killed a planet, i feel really bad. i just killed a planet GL, not i feel worse.
DEATHbyEXILE - 7/14/2013, 5:05 PM
EdgyOutsider - 7/14/2013, 5:05 PM
HeadCreeps: Nickelback is actually my favorite.band. No joke.

Levi: Play the game and make your own judgment
StrangeBlackPantherDoctor - 7/14/2013, 5:06 PM
The Arkham Games are far better than Deadpool which was okay. I love Nolan North and the Character but gameplay was meh. Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions and The Amazing Spider-Man game are decent.
patrat18 - 7/14/2013, 5:13 PM
marvel what terrible deadpool game
AshleyWilliams - 7/14/2013, 5:16 PM
Perfect.

Here's mine

1. Arkham City
2. Arkham Asylum
3. Injustice
4. Ultimate Alliance
5. Deadpool

With Ultimate Spider-Man just below it.
Odin - 7/14/2013, 5:17 PM
Well, finally.
Fastestmanalive - 7/14/2013, 5:20 PM
Wow, the manhunter kicks some serious ass, about time he got some video game love, hes got so many powers and cool ones too, looks really fantastic with his new 52 design as well.

Also the voices of John and J'on sound like the same ones from the tv show, cool.
HellsHammer - 7/14/2013, 5:23 PM
Not a DeadPool guy at all. Can't stand him to be honest. Too annoying for my taste.
113 - 7/14/2013, 5:29 PM
Looks like they got Phil Lamar to reprise his voice role as John Stewart. So awesome.
Minato - 7/14/2013, 5:33 PM
They made Jonnz sick but John Stewart shouldnt just be a Hal Jordan skin. All of earths green Lanterns should have different models and constructs.
airbeyonder18 - 7/14/2013, 5:46 PM

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tainted87 - 7/14/2013, 5:49 PM
I think it's Carl Lumbly and Phil LaMarr, again, awesome.
I like J'onn's powers, they're kind of all over the place, but very nice.
Only complaint is that I'll have to spend even more money on this game, but what can you do?
Zordan - 7/14/2013, 6:01 PM
ok im starting to like this 2 from now on
thewonderer - 7/14/2013, 6:02 PM
Levi is bonkers

While Deadpool doesn't reach the heights of gameplay as the Batman games, it is one of the most fun experiences I've had playing a game.

Gameplay isn't revolutionary but the writing and 4th wall breaking is phenomenal. They nailed Deadpool.

Deadpool is pure adrenaline fun and anyone expecting more does not know who Deadpool is.

One of the best lines in the game

"hey, why don't we call Peter"
"yeah, I like Peter!"
"we're NOT calling Peter. He'd just steal the game anyway"
dkhager - 7/14/2013, 6:05 PM
this is awesome....cant wait..plus i hope this isnt the last dlc..i heard there were 3 more too..power girl, red hood, and sub zero...fingers crossed
