Apparently we missed the buzz last year, when it was rumored Wonder Woman was going to get her own direct-to-DVD movie. Nevertheless, rumors have it that Keri Russell is going to voice the Amazon beauty.
Over at TV Guide, Michael Ausiello of the Ausiello Report has put his feeler out, and found that Keri Russell, once star of the hit show Felicity, is going to be voicing Diana Prince, aka, Wonder Woman. Expected to be released late '08/early '09, it’s the next movie in DC’s attempt to take back the direct-to-DVD animated feature film market from Marvel.
Nevertheless, I am loving this choice, and cannot wait to get my grubby little hands on the DVD. Sad I have to wait so long, but for Russell, I’ll wait… I’ll wait!
