I'll be curious to hear the score, John Ottman is usually pretty good with his scores. Just kind of sucks he really just seems to be stuck doing Xmen now. As I don't think he did a score for a good long time before DOFP came out.

back in the days X2 soundtrack was probably one of the best soundtracks for cbm. not sure if it still holds up though.

Ottman is the man. really underrated.

even if he is clearly insipred by Zimmer (Inception) he still shines.

@LEVITIKUZ - You honestly seem to be someone whose opinion is shaped by others. Sure according to the majority of people and critics, Batman v Superma sucked. Prior to its release, though, you were like "I'm hearing all this stuff and its making me nervous. All these reviews and I'm not liking what I'm hearing." Fair enough. Isolated incident. Now this one comes along getting polarizing reviews and without even watching the movie you're saying stuff like "That's surprising, it can't be that bad" "I read a brief outline and didn't like it" and other stuff. I'm paraphrasing by the way.

So I really have to ask, when was the last time you went into a movie without reading everything you could about it beforehand and deciding whether or not you liked it or not. And don't say shit like "I haven't seen it and I still might like it" because you have already made your mind up, that much is clear.

@LEVITIKUZ - FUN FACT: XMINO has reached the same number of rotten reviews (31) at 68 reviews counted that Captain America: Civil War has at 298 reviews counted.

@Yaf - I hadn't made up my mind when I saw Civil War or Batman v Superman. Sure I, like many others, read everything but no opinion matters besides my own when I'm seating in the seat watching the film. For [frick]s sake, Batman v Superman has 2 of my favorite superheroes and I still think the film is a pile of dogshit. In fact, I think the critics weren't hard enough of the film and should have gone down to the level of Fant4stic.

The problems with Apocalypse seems simple:
-Adds nothing new to the series
-Introduces new characters and doesn't focus on them or develop them
-Raven as the center
-Magneto again being the villain (oh like nobody saw that coming)
-Apocalypse being underwhelming
-Storm, Psylocke, and Angel getting as less lines then Superman in BvS

I mean for [frick]'s sake man. Despite me having not seen it, there are severe screenwriting issues. Having characters like Storm be a mute. Having a villain named [frick]ing APOCALYPSE be underwhelming. Really little to no character development. A segment of the film which is pretty much the last act of X2 but set in the 80s. Seems like besides Storm, there's little to no character development for any of the characters.

The issue is just there's nothing new. World is being destroyed in another X-Men film and X-Men stop it and Magneto again outshines the main villain.

Trust me, I don't call bullshit just because it may smell like shit without having any rhyme or reason to back it up. Me personally, I've never liked the idea of this film since 2014. We have a noob level X-Men team facing the biggest baddie of the X-Men comics. It's like a noob level JL team facing Darkseid (like the shitty New 52 origin or animated film version). Apocalypse doesn't seem half as bad as BvS at least so there's a compliment.

And the last time I went into a film without reading anything and I mean anything, Hateful 8.

Even after the script leaked, I stayed away. I'm too much of a Tarantino fan and want to see his films surprised by all the twists and turns.

And I did love Hateful 8. Little long though but very well done and the ending is so perfect only Tarantino would think of it.
