John Ottman Confirmed To Return As X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Composer
In news which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, composer John Ottman (who has worked with Bryan Singer on everything from X-Men 2 to Superman Returns and X-Men: Days of Future Past) will return to score X-Men: Apocalypse. Hit the jump for details...
If you liked the scores of X-Men 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past, then you'll love X-Men: Apocalypse next year as it has been confirmed by Film Music Reporter that John Ottman has officially signed up to return for the movie. Some fans preferred Henry Jackman's take on the mutant characters in X-Men: First Class, but Ottman's work in last year's "inbetweenquel" was still great. For those of you needing a reminder, this one will star Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Rose Byrne, and franchise newcomers Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, and Ben Hardy. Bryan Singer will direct and Simon Kinberg is writing. X-Men: Apocalypse is set to be released on May 27th, 2016.
