Is Mr. Sinister in X-Men Origins: Wolverine?

The 'Wade Wilson is Weapon XI' news didn't sit well with me. I searched to disprove it, but only met disappointment in my quest. I did, however, find evidence to prove Mr. Sinister is in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"
Earlier this evening, I viewed an article: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/scoops/news/?a=6590 --the news that Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool was also Weapon XI.

This news had me heated. How could they do this after all the greatness they've given us. Until I'd read that, I was sure "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" would be the greatest movie of the year. We all had our doubts at first with all the characters Fox seemed to be cramming in. Then a few characters were tossed in, having nothing to do with Wolverines origin in the comics, characters like Blob, Cyclops, and my personal favorite, Gambit, among others. Admittedly, I didn't care as much the relevance, just the fast I would finally get to see my favorite super hero on film. Immediately I began digging for ways to at least make it acceptable for him to be there. Sabertooth came to mind immediately. As I searched more and watched more previews, I began to form a theory that it was very possible for Mr. Sinister to make a small, yet significant appearance. In the end, all I had were theories and speculation, mostly hope. Now over the past few days, any comic movie fan with an internet connection knows about this Deadpool/Weapon XI fiasco. If your not, refer to the link above. Initially, I was steadfast in my view that this was impossible. It made no sense that Wade Wilson/Deadpool becomes the main powerhouse villain for the movie, Weapon XI. I won't go through all the holes I found in this tragic plot twist, but it motivated me to dig out everything I could to prove this rumor was a hoax. What I found was that they are indeed going to make Deadpool become Weapon XI. While talking with some friends about how terrible this was and I began tossing around my theories that Mr. Sinister would be featured in the movie at some point. Lucky me, the 2 fellow's I was chatting with, hooked777 and alten2345, where seriously good at finding information once I pointed them in the right direction. What they helped me find is astonishing.

WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT!!!

Since Gambit is my favorite character, I can confidently say I know everything about him, from his origins and dark past to every minor detail of his powers and the various ways he can employ them. Any X-fan worth their salt knows that it was Gambit who gathered the Marauders as a last favor he owned to Sinister. These Marauders than went on to cull the life from the Morlock tunnels beneath New York. Even the X-men took heavy casualties‘, all came to pass due to Gambits dealings with Sinister. One of the Marauders turned out to be someone who Gambit was familiar with, Sabertooth. Also, this wasn't the first time Sabertooth had worked for Sinister. Now we have these 3 characters tied together. As Wolverine has long and deep ties with Sabertooth, these characters are linked to our title character. During one of Weapon X programs successful reboots, several prison/testing facilities were in operation. One of them, the Neverland Facility, a death camp where captive mutants were given a choice, if they were fit, to join Weapon X or die. The facility was under the order and supervision of Head Scientist Doctor Robert Windsor. However, Dr. Windsor is not who he seems, he is Mr. Sinister in disguise, and only one other man knows his true identity, and that is Sabertooth. During his command of this facility, he would hand pick the best potential gene pools and take them to his own personal labs. Now an even deeper connection to Sabertooth is established along with strong ties to Weapon X. Additionally, He operated the Neverland facility while Weapon X members such as Sabertooth, Deadpool, Agent Zero, Sauron, Marrow, and others were active... and since this is the Weapon X program that was started by the U.S. is also the basis for the movie, along with its Weapon XI plot and many of the character choices. Another bonus! I have discovered, however, that the prison labs we see aren't Neverland, it's at 3-mile Island for the movie. That obviously isn't a problem, if they can add Blob to Weapon X, they can shuffle 'Dr. Windsor' to the movies main lab setting.

With these strong ties to the source material, Sinister is actually a credible addition to the cast. Now Gambit is linked through the source material. The ties that bind Sinister and Gambit are much deeper than most people know. I mentioned above how Gambit gathered the Marauders for Sinister as a favor that was owed: Gambit's powers manifested at 14. By the time he was about 20-22 his powers had began to grow exponentially and he was slowly losing his control of them. At this time in his history, he could charge objects with kinetic energy simply by looking at them and as he started to lose his control, objects would just explode randomly around him because of the overflow of kinetic energy his body generated. This made him a danger to those around him as well as making it extremely difficult to hide what he is. He searched his connections he'd gathered as a thief to find a scientist who could help mutants. He was sent to Sinister. Sinister bargained that he would remove a piece of Gambits brain, greatly dampening his power, but keeping it within Gambits ability to safely control. In return, Gambit was to perform a series of jobs, leading to his final job of gathering the Marauders. However, unbeknownst to Gambit, Sinister has been a part of his life far longer. It was revealed in "X-Men: The End" miniseries that Gambit was... DUM DUM DUM... Sinister's son. More accurately, Gambit is created from the combined genetic material of Sinister and Scott Summers, then he artificially inseminated the genetic material into a 'breeder' for gestation. When Gambit was born, Sinister gave him to Jean Luc Lebeau, leader of the Thieves Guild so that Gambit would be raised in a fashion Sinister could use in the future. As a note: Chris Claremont wrote the story that revealed this revelation of Gambits true beginnings. This is significant because Claremont is the creator of both Gambit and Sinister, along with many other X-Men and villains. Now I have discovered how Gambit is tied into the story in the movie. He is the only mutant to have escaped a Weapon X prison lab that Wolverine is searching for. Could 'Dr. Windsor' be the head of science at said prison lab? We don't know yet.

It is basically known to all that Cyclops spent his childhood in an orphanage. This orphanage was another property of a disguised Mr. Sinister. Sinister such locations in carious regions of society so as to elevate his chances of getting more powerful mutants to add to his banks. We also know that Sinister has always had a fixation with the Summers bloodline. It has even been revealed that Sinister has been manipulating his family’s gene pool for many generations. Cyclops is the pinnacle of power and his genes, when spliced with others, grew immensely in power. I personally think that they added Cyclops to the cast after deciding to put Sinister in, knowing that if Cyke was tied to Sinister, the fanboy's would accept it. Since Sinister is one of the greatest geneticists in the Marvel Universe, I wonder if 'Dr. Windsor' has a part in the creation of Weapon XI in the movie? Can you see all these ties to him? It's like a web of deception and he's at its center. Before I unveil the final proof of Sinister's presence in this movie, I want you all to know that there is NOTHING anywhere that even mentions Sinister's name in attachment to this film, therefore, all of the things I've told you above involving him in the story is just speculation and possibility. HOWEVER, if you examine every casting list on the internet for this movie, you will get names for everyone and who they are playing, all the way down to the 2 pilots in the heli Wolvie is clinging to in the preview... with one exception. An Australian actor named Christian Clark. Not only can you not find out what role he is cast for, but he is the only member of the cast under a complete gag-order. This means he cannot talk about this movie to anyone except to say, "I can't talk to you about this movie." The most you can find about this mans involvement is this brief interview:

And that's all you can find about him and this movie. Why is he the only one who cannot say a word. This guy actually screwed up by even admitting involvement! And there you have it my friends! While I must concede that this obviously isn't 100% certain, I am confident that my months of referencing, research, and thumbing through old comics has paid off and I would say I'm at least 98% sure that my hypothesis is correct. This is arguably the X-Men's most deadly adversary, and he has the cunning, calculating intellect, and raw power to always stay one step of the X-Men and often operates from the shadows without anyone the wiser. This character could be weaved through the main plots, added to parallel plots ever scheming. To see him on the screen would be second in greatness only to Gambit.

Special thanks to hooked777 and alten2345 for locating some vital threads that allowed me to finally lock this down.

P.S. I have also heard some whispers of an X-23 Easter-egg!

cool, good work, cant imagine the amount of time you spent on this. you deserve to be right.

Can i just say for those of you that think he's a good pick for the part, it wouldn't take much work on photoshop to add the makeup to that picture of clark, i would do it myself if i had photoshop or was any good at it. just a thought (as a teaser), a little fan art contest perhaps.
theFACE - 3/13/2009, 4:06 AM
I agree with theFace. Good job. :D
Lansdowne5 - 3/13/2009, 5:52 AM
That would set up a good Deadpool spin-off, if he lives at the end. I imagine Deadpool would be pretty pissed at the guy who was responsible for splicing his genes and making him look like a freak of nature.
bobbyjones6969 - 3/13/2009, 7:33 AM
Hell yeah! That would make this movie more bearable. I hope you're right. I have been an X-fan since I could read. 6 years old I picked up my first X-men comic in '85 and have loved them ever since. We've been waiting for this movie for decades. I really hope against hope that this isn't a steaming pile of CR@P. But the more info I get about it, it makes me feel it's going to be. Whether it is or not, I think you would do one hell of a job writing for the rest of the X-francise movies. Great work.
thills22 - 3/13/2009, 7:35 AM
Lots of research went into this goodjob. I could see him being him although not in the wierd costume or with fangs or heck even the wierd computer sounding voice (from x-men series) But as a random dude pulling strings Ya. Good Job.
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 8:03 AM
Nah i hope He has the pale look, red eyes and fangs..at least in his true form, obviously he would be in disguise if he is in fact in the movie according to the myths description..i too hope your right..but there are already a hell of a lot of characters in this movie..it might be overkill with Sinister too, unless its a very brief cameo to set up future movies
RorMachine - 3/13/2009, 8:16 AM
as totally cool as this sounds, its pretty obvious 20th century fox are morons and if they cant even do deadpool right then its seems unlikely that they would go to all that trouble to do all this research to put in mr sinister in that obscure form as it would go over at least 80-90 percent of their potential audiences head and maintsream appeal is obviously what their main aim is,plus it doesnt seem like rewarding the fans is high on their list.
gambitscoat - 3/13/2009, 8:34 AM
Good job to you and the other contributors who were involved. If this is the case, wonderful peice of news.

As I posted on another thread, this is an ideal opportunity to bring in Sinister as a set-up for the main villain in X-Men: First Class, assuming FOX proceeds with that project.
071808 - 3/13/2009, 8:36 AM
I would say that you are absolutely right...except that this is a Fox movie and knowing them they could have Wolverine being a geneticist...stupid Fox...But I would love for you to be right, the story fits very well and would actually make sense, great job researching everything and putting it all together
Perrigren - 3/13/2009, 8:44 AM
@ gambitscoat, do you not understand what this article is saying??? this article is not only proving Sinister's involvement, but showing how this movie is tying in Gambit, Cyclops and even Deadpool's drastic change! and yes, article author, good job, you deserve some sort of award for your research ability, this gives me great hope. It all makes sense, and I love it...lets hope this is the way Fox goes. and I could definitely see Clark as Sinister, he's got the face, the look, everything...keep crossin them fingers though
davidzuck - 3/13/2009, 8:47 AM
Wow guys... I am amazed. These are all great ideas. You all have turned some horrible news about a beloved character into a wonderfully thought up synopsis. Fox does not have a great track record, so unfortunately beacause of this, it is a stretch. But the dedication to salvage a disaster, is impressive non the less. There still could be some redemption in all this. Great Job everybody...
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 8:51 AM
I too agree that Clark "could" potray a decent sinister, but if I'm not mistaken in a previous thread, the myth mentioned Kieth David as a casting pick... I thought that was spot on...

The Myth - I don't know what you do for a living, but you have missed your calling. Your dedication and imagination is very impressive... you should be helming everything that is Marvel.

I see a few people on here that bitch about us fans complaining that our beloved characters are being warped into something unrecognisable. I myself remember talk of an x-men movie when I was in elemntary school, for it to take another ten years to produce something. We are now at a day and age where these comic consepts are finally visually possible, and all we want is for those involved to stay faithful. I dont feel like thats asking to much.
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 9:03 AM
We can only hope this is true. And mad props if it is.
BmanHall - 3/13/2009, 9:08 AM
if you are right then there might be hope for this movies plot yet. Regardless the action is going to be legendary enough to warrant seeing it even if the ridiculous Weapon XI/Deadpool twist
Alfredo27 - 3/13/2009, 9:10 AM
YEAH THE GUY COULD PLAY SINISTER..DO THE MAKEUP RIGHT AND THATS HIM.
GUNSMITH - 3/13/2009, 9:21 AM
if Sinister is in it i hope they do him justice coz he is my favourite x-villain!

i think it is wierd how everyone is now convinced that deadpool is weapon X1! i for one refuse to believe it! there are 2 things that make me sure i am right! why would fox hire 2 completely different actors to play the same character? its not like he is totaly scarred or unrecocnisable! you can tell its not ryan reynolds! so what, when they were giving him his upgrades they decided to give him some plastic surgery to make him look like a different guy? i dont think so! do you think a movie studio is going to pay a diffarent actor to do a job that the already payed actor is perfectly capable of doing? the second thing is that there is no way a sdudio would let a huge spoiler like this out so long before the movie is released!!

so in conclusion, weapon X1 cannot be deadpool! and sinister could be a nice addition!
Scuzz - 3/13/2009, 9:30 AM
i hope its sinister he look loads like him he wud make a wayyyyy better villian than magneto in the xmen films but thats only cus i think sinister was cool a s hell
Roscoe182 - 3/13/2009, 9:37 AM
I am amazed at all the people saying that deadpool cant be weapon XI because of there being "two actors".

Guys really, I read somewhere that scott adkins was reynolds stunt double... plus I bet the trailor was not designed for screen shots and that scott being seen (ryan not being seen for that matter) was an accident. RYAN RENOLDS HAS A STUNT DOUBLE.
There is a lot of martial art/action in this movie... dont get me wrong, renolds is a great actor, i just think that some of the action is not in his ability range (or too expensive to contract beause I doubt anybody is willing to see ryan get hurt doing something stupid or something he doesnt have too).

this article by mtv has me optomistic about deadpool and weapon xi being seperate things.
Alfredo27 - 3/13/2009, 10:03 AM
so you think adkins has been on the CAST list for like ... over a year because he is Reynolds stunt double? how could they then make a DP movie if that is what happens to his character? i truly believe that Hood would not completely destroy this character, when he could create a new character so much more easily! plus they know the fans would never forgive them!

and do you know how much trouble and time they go to to create trailers? it was not an accident that you seen him!!! i would stake my life on the fact that weapon X1 is not deadpool!!

on a side note the character does look pretty cool and i think they should introduce him into the comics!
Scuzz - 3/13/2009, 10:14 AM

kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 10:18 AM
also, did you see the stuff reynolds was doing earlier on in the trailer? with all the spinning? what weapon X1 was doing in the trailer was no were near as dangerous, so why would reynolds be doing the first stunt and not the second?

because it is not deadpool!!!!!!!!!!
Scuzz - 3/13/2009, 10:18 AM
HE NEEDS THE KILLING CANCER FIRST, THAN THE REPLICA OF WOLVERINE HEALING FACTOR WHICH IS NOT PERFECT, THAN HE IS DEADPOOL
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 10:22 AM
Like I said, they are still working on the movie and the CGI. I would put money on the fact that they really wanted to show the "idea" of the character and it got fumbled.
I think the reason why scott got his own character name was to "throw off" the fans. I think because they were in a hurry to show the concept of "Deadpool" that they got sloppy. Its just another idea. I'm with a lot of you on not liking the wilson/deadpool idea. But the evidence is proving that this isnt far off. A lot of you have proved that this idea could still work and be faithful... there is just too much evidence to say otherwise.
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 10:22 AM
It would be cool to see Mr Sinister on the movie, but remember that those movies not always follow the original story...

kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 10:32 AM
the more and more I think about this, I'm becoming more optomistic...I don't think the director could do that to a character that is so widely adored by fans, and too...if the director has the knowledge of all this Sinister stuff, he obviously has a knowledge of the comics, and therefore wouldn't do that to good ol' Wade Wilson...but, we just have to wait and see...I'm still waiting for any nod that Ryan Reynolds stays through the movie, and does indeed get scarred
davidzuck - 3/13/2009, 10:34 AM
I think you need to read your comics again...

You know what I think that they should just see how many damn characters that don't belong they can get in one movie. Hell lets add Thor, Mr. Fantastic, Captain America, Iron Fist and Jubilee to the film too. At this point it's blatantly obvious the film is gonna blow Dragonballz!
LastSon1027 - 3/13/2009, 11:00 AM
I'm glad everyone is reading this! Trust me guys, I'm not someone trying to put false information out. I love the X-Men and my whole reason for doing all this research was to find a way to have Gambit and Cyclops in the story and it be somewhat linkable to the source material. I remember how it was when I first heard Cyke and Gambit were going to be in this movie. I was excited that Gambit would be in it, but also wondered what the hell was going on that they were making him part of Wolverine's origin. I have been trying to put this all together for a few months now, but until last nite, could never find anything concrete to reinforce my theory. With the things I've read, I can safely say that this is more than a theory now. It's very nearly a certainty. Seriously, what other character could it possibly be? The guy is the only cast member not allowed to talk about his role or involvement. You stack that with all the story links that already exist... I promise you all that we will see him as Dr. Windsor at the very least! I am that confident in what I've found.

In regards to the 'Deadpool is Weapon XI' ordeal, as much as I hate to say it, all evidence suggest that this is exactly the case. Although they did end up changing parts of that fight during the re-shoot a couple months ago. I feel your pain though folks. This is what I know of how the climax is basically staged:
Deadpool is the subject Stryker use's for the Weapon XI experiment. While Deadpool is being enhanced, Wolvie shows up unexpectadly looking for Sabertooth. As Wolvie hacks and slashes his way through the facility, Stryker decides to launch Weapon XI early, before all of his enhancements were completed. In the ensueing battle, Deadpool puts a whooping on our heroes, but their combined might along with Deadpools disregard for efficient use of his new powers proves too much for his healing factor, which begins to purge the enhancements from his body as it heals him, as the enhancements are not part of his actual DNA(Wolverine fans know that his healing factor has this effect, which is also partially responsible for his memory loss). As Wolverine begins to gain the edge and finally gets his opening, using it to sever both of Deadpool's arms and dropping him into a cooling tower at 3-mile Island. That is essentially the climax in a nutshell. After all is said and done, I am sure we will get another shot of Deadpool reviving, scars and all, along with th rest of the closing easter-eggs. I can also compare Deadpool's actual origin to this evolution he goes through in the movie. It is basically the same way, except minus all the famous characters, and DP is a test subject incarcerated in a Weapon X prison lab. He is the head scientists favorite test subject and is used routinely. His origin climax's with his escape, during which a villain(memory is failing me on his name) nearly kills Wade, this is when his healing factor finally kicks in just as Death is coming to claim him. This cause's Wade to be rejected by Death. He got his name from a 'game' at the facility he was held in called 'The Deadpool' in which bets where made of some manner involving the survival rate of specific test subjects(memory is failing again as to the specifics of the game), Wade remained the top contender until his escape. That's his comic origin in a nutshell. Apply these instance's to the film, and we really don't have that much changed other than character names, and of course some of the powers DP obtains, but all-in-all not as bad as I had originally thought once I sat and thought it through.
TheMyth - 3/13/2009, 11:01 AM

LastSon1027 - 3/13/2009, 11:11 AM
Scuzz im sorry but your going to have to come to terms with the fact that Wade Wilson will indeed become that freak from the trailer. One toys name could have been a misprint or mistake or whatever but if you check some of the other articles on the subject youl see that the little superhero squad freak figure is also called Deadpool..its happened! Our only (and foxs only!) hope is that he rejects the implants and becomes the wise cracking, utterly insane Deadpool at the end of the movie.

Nope. I agree w/ Rorshach. Having Sinister in the film would be overkill. The movie wouldnt do him justice and we all know it. I mean, come on!!! Look what they've done to Deadpool. @davidzuck,yes i did understand what the article was saying.Maybe my response wasnt clear.I think that it is a good idea.i was merely saying that its a stretch to think that franchise killers fox would go to these lengths to give us as a fans a clear plot that cleverly links these characters together in a legitimate and comic book faithful(ish) way when all they seem to e concerned about is mainstream mass appeal hence the debacle that is weapon xi because in theri eyes it is a cool concept that sits well with them and will shift toys regardless of mythology and fan appeasal

PPL YOU GOT TO REMEMBER FOX LIKE TO SEND DOWN MEN IN SUITS
WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT COMICS COME AN CHANGE THINGS THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TRUE NATURE OF THE HEROS OR VILLAINS, TRUST ME I WAS THERE IN PERSON WHEN SO MEN FROM SONY TRY TO CLAIM THE RIGHTS TO SPIDER-MAN
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 11:20 AM
ROR-

I hope THEMYTH is right, but unfortunately fox production isn't marvel. I don't think they have the foresight and patience to manage that much interweaving.

I think you are spot on my friend.
Talontd - 3/13/2009, 11:20 AM
Great post though. Well thought out. Nice work.
DarkAvengers - 3/13/2009, 11:22 AM
I wish they had an age limit, like 16. Ken wouldn't be able to join in 8 more years. BTW Ken your cap lock key must be broke because you seem to only do caps. Unless you are so immature where you feel as though the only way you can get attention is to yell and cry. Silly child. DJ uses caps the correct way, emphasising a word or phrase. NOT THE WHOLE DANG THING!!! Just like I did there for you.

Back to topic.
As we all know comic movies, for me at least, are considered elseworld tales. Like Russian Superman and such. Sometimes things won't work or the directors aren't smart enough to make them work. Most people know the origins of most characters and how they act, but in this elseworlds tale they are a tad different.

BTW DJ how did you get a picture of Kencanada's mom?
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 11:24 AM
Talontd @ IM GLAD FOX ISN'T MARVEL!!!! MARVEL messing their own up! ; ) Im more looking forward now to the WARNER/DC MOVIES!!! Putting ULTIMATE in MARVEL movies sucks! Oh yeah so does DEADPOOL'S face in WOLVERINE! ; ) WATCH THE WATCHMEN!!!!

LEEE777 - 3/13/2009, 11:27 AM
Oh yeah, hope this SIN stuff happens, cool!!!
LEEE777 - 3/13/2009, 11:29 AM
@SMOLO YOU FEEL YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO INSULT ME FOR HAVING CAPS ON, AND MY LATE MOM, WITH ANY REGARD OR RESPECT, AN YOU CALL ME 16,

kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 11:31 AM
LEEE777
what? ULTIMATE is badass...
people that dont like ultimate give me an aneurysm.

hooked777 - 3/13/2009, 11:32 AM
I'll be honest, with all the speculation about weapon XI being deadpool, i was initially super pissed. however, having read theMYTH's post i looked into deadpool's origin myself and i genuinly feel that this may not be as bad as we are all expecting it to be. sure it could have been better but at least we know one thing for sure, we will get to see a scarred deadpool, and i do belive that he will reject the powers he is given, which will bring him back to our beloved deadpool. So my unreserved thanks go out to theMYTH, HOOKED777 and ALTEN2345, it's you guys that have filled me with fresh optumism for this movie and i am once again looking forward to it.

P.S. i am once again able to sleep at night......lol!
theFACE - 3/13/2009, 11:33 AM
Kencada200x @ :thumbs ,,, SMOLO, KISS IT!!!
LEEE777 - 3/13/2009, 11:33 AM
Come on smolo be nice...
If in fact Ken is a kid, he has just as much right to be on here as anyone else. I mean this is about comics...

Ken- all input is good, just know what your talking about and stay with the material.

And I do like the fact that they are "eye to eye". It helps the rivalry. I never liked the fact that sabertooth was twice the size of wolverine or that wolverine is sometimes portrayed as a hunched over midget. This why it looks more like a true duality.
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 11:34 AM
themyth... way to dig man, insightful, well thought out,& it makes sense. with a geneticist on board, maybe weapon XI and deadpool are two different characters, maybe a clone of deadpool
verbicide - 3/13/2009, 11:34 AM
GREAT JOB Sherlock Myth!!! Kick ass article :))

Justadjust- i believe i am the one who casted Sinister as Keith David, here's the link:

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MySecretIdentityPick/news/?a=6018

And if this is right, do you guys also think what i'm also thinking??? TheMyth's very own Fanfic X-men trilogy to follow the previous one could be incredibly plausible!!! APOCALYPSE could very well be the X-men's new THREAT! Just follow the link i provided to find not only the cast i made of his trilogy but also all the links to read his amazing fanfic storyline!!!
Shaman - 3/13/2009, 11:36 AM
ken....you deserve it..."TRIPLE H FOR THOR!!!!" that makes me sick to my stomach bro
hooked777 - 3/13/2009, 11:36 AM
AM NOT HERE FOR YOU, AM WAITING FOR A MORE INTELLIGENT FRIEND SO I CAN GIVE HIM THE SCOOP ON THE DR STRANGE MOVIE, SEE WHEN YOU WORK FOR TOP LAWYER AT MARVEL
TO FIND OUT A LOT OF TRUE INFORMATION
BUT I WONT INSULT YOU I DONT NEED TO CHILS
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 11:36 AM
That must have been a HUGE CASKET. Shipping container?

Anyway, Ultimate Universe had several great things about it. U-xmen was good till after issue 60 or so. U-Spiderman is 99% great. U-FF has usually been 99% sucky.

Lee if you just hit "Post Comment" once that works too.
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 11:37 AM
@theface
thanx man

@ken
how do you expect us to believe that?
hooked777 - 3/13/2009, 11:39 AM
HOOKED777 @ ULTIMATE IS SAD an has no place in MARVEL movies!!!! ITS AVENGERS COMING OUT!!! Not ULTIMATES, if i was ULTIMATES i wouldnt care but its not, its = AVENGERS!!!! ULTIMATE FURY SUCKS!!! ; )
LEEE777 - 3/13/2009, 11:39 AM
Shaman - I thought about that after I wrote it... I knew if I was wrong, I would get called out. I liked youe choice. And I also put you on the list with "themyth". You have missed your calling.
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 11:39 AM
are ya happy now caps off, what i said about triple h as Thor was only a opinion, it just cause of his look thats all i know he cant act
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 11:39 AM
If, depending on sales of tickets, they do Wolverine 2, who is really left to put in the movie since most charecters have already showed up between the Crapner X-men and Origins. I know there are tons of Marvel Universe ppl left, but some would be useless and just B-listers.
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 11:40 AM
@hooked77 do u read the new x-force series
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 11:41 AM
@kencanada200x: You are right about the healing factor being necessary to bond adamantium enhancements. Most significant reason why is adamantium poisoning. Because of his enhanced skeleton, Wolvie is in a constant state of healing the damage caused by the radiation poisoning constantly radiated by the alloy. In the movie, the markings on DP/Weapon XI are similar to the one's on Wolvie when he undergoes the bonding process, as the adamantium bonding process was the last part of his treatment, which if you red my post above you know Stryker unleashed his super-mutant before it was finished.

Deadpool is not a mutant. He is what the Marvel Universe refers to as a 'mutate', which is a person who possess' the X-gene, but it is entirely dormant and never manifests. The presence of the dormant X-gene, however, makes the persons body significantly more flexible and accepting to genetic alteration. This is how Wolverine's healing factor was applied and assimilated into Deadpool's DNA.

@hooked777: Yessir! I may have done mountains of research and pondering on this, but it was all essentially useless until you found that link. It was the missing piece that took my theory from a "maybe" to a "most definitely". I give credit where credit is due, and kudos to you!
TheMyth - 3/13/2009, 11:41 AM
Just wait til Magneto Origins comes out. It will probably have Banshee, Havok, Wolverine, Cable and Cannonball. Damn FOX these people are lucky there isn't anything better coming out cause most likely I will go suffer through this abomination, hell maybe he'll be in the movie too.
LastSon1027 - 3/13/2009, 11:43 AM
@hooked77 if you do there is a lawyer in the comic called eli bard
eli bard is a real person who is the top lawyer for marvel
in midtown Manhattan, in she-hulk 25 in the back of the comic she-hulk breaks the forth wall comes in the office an kick there ass, the guy in the black suit is eli bard who they say by name
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 11:44 AM
Lee what sucks about the Ultimate Nick Fury? Is it because he is black? I bet the Avengers movie is called avengers for the name sake. Not as many ppl know who the Ultimates are. When they make the avengers movie they are gonna take stuff from 3 columns.
1. Avengers Universe (616)
2. Ultimate Universe (1610)
3. Random crap ppl think are cool.

Good job Ken, want a cookie?
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 11:45 AM
only the deadpool stuff
hooked777 - 3/13/2009, 11:45 AM
Actually Banshee is sposed to be in Origins as well.
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 11:46 AM

that doesnt prove anything other than a name bro...that stuff can be found online
hooked777 - 3/13/2009, 11:46 AM
F#@KIN FOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LastSon1027 - 3/13/2009, 11:47 AM
LastSon why do you care you love DC. U have ..... nm. you don't have any live action DC Universe movies coming out soon.
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 11:48 AM
Hey at least they are all real characters (as long as deadpool/weapon XI are one).

I mean come on... The Omegas??

I know I posted that before, but jesus christ, I could have shot ratner for that.
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 11:49 AM
@hooked77 protect that man at night when he sleeps an his family i talk to him about whats goin on at marvel
he tells me only a little bit, i was there when sony came an had a big argument about them owning the rights to spider-man
which i was called up stairs an throw them out
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 11:49 AM
Well I just had Watchmen and apparently I have Green Lantern coming out next year but I don't know Warner Bros has been less then reliable on the comic book front so I take what I can get even if it is Marvel.
LastSon1027 - 3/13/2009, 11:50 AM
3 COLUMNS SUCK!!! Lol, yep HOLLYWOOD does!!! But i expected better when MARVEL did their own movies!!!! ULTIMATES is a good comic but has no place being mixed up with MARVEL history! Still, i doubt they will never make a film as good as THE WATCHMEN is!!! an that's sad! ; )
LEEE777 - 3/13/2009, 11:51 AM
ken - again, stick with the material. No one cares what your connections are, unless there is relevance.
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 11:52 AM
Watchmen isn't apart of the Regular DCU. But I can understand you not knowing that considering DCU is so screwed up with Multiple Earths and yadayadayda. Marvel at least has some sort of standard timeline.
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 11:52 AM
Just, how did you decipher all the jumbled mess that threw up on the screen from Ken's mouth.
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 11:53 AM
Well while it is true that Watchmen isn't part of the regular continuity they are in fact owned by DC. Therefore making it a DC property.
LastSon1027 - 3/13/2009, 11:54 AM
i know that there is nothing i can say to prove it to u but i would not lie about marvel,
how about this, my
daughter middle name is marvel thats how me an mr bard became friends cause we both have daughters, an i watch over his family
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 11:54 AM

LEEE777 - 3/13/2009, 11:54 AM

@ken
that still doesnt prove anything other than the fact that you have internet access..

not going to believe that you know anyone connected to marvel

because if you did
you wouldnt be an advocate FOR TRIPLE H AS THOR.
anyone old enough to work for marvel/marvels lawyers knows that is retarded as [frick]
hooked777 - 3/13/2009, 11:54 AM
This movie is going to be entertaining. But ORIGIN wise it will suck. Deadpool is Weapon 11....are you kidding me....I know hes suppose to take his mask off at the end off the movie and the Cancer has spread throughoput his face....which is possible the only faithful thing their doing...and END CREDITS: Ryan Reynolds is suppose to talk throughout who he knows...and then it leads off to a Deadpool spinoff.

Watch the X-men origins: Wolverine end credits...and then say if im bullshitting ;) .....F*CK FOX!
Aiiwolf - 3/13/2009, 11:58 AM
@smolo if you want to talk
tell me who is the first mutant and who is older than the marvel universe
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 11:58 AM
Lee Press "Post Comment" ONLY ONE TIME!
You have a daughter and you are under 16? What are the schools teaching these children now a days? Didn't you get the cucumber test?
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 11:58 AM
WATCHMEN = COMICBOOK MOVIE OF THE DECADE!!! ; )
LEEE777 - 3/13/2009, 11:59 AM
Apoc = Apocalypse, edit so you can understand the short version
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 11:59 AM
wow... some people just dont get it...

Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 12:00 PM
LEE I have to disagree. The Dark Knight was far better than the Watchmen, maybe not as loyal but I enjoyed much more.
LastSon1027 - 3/13/2009, 12:00 PM
ken, you have horrible grammar/spelling.
how can i trust you?

you sound 12 therefor you are 12 on here
...simple as that
as soon as you can put on your big boy shoes, talk right and not sound incredibly retarded, we will believe your age is that of a man who has a daughter and works for a lawyer
hooked777 - 3/13/2009, 12:01 PM
@hooked77 triple h was only a matter of opinion and a joke to ppl i know here as we go back an forth, i even said he cant act, an that casting for Thor will be one of the hardest one all time, i called it a needled in haystack the size of the world, that all we have to do is hope an pray that the right man is pick
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 12:02 PM
no! the first mutant is namor
and he is older than the marvel universe
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 12:04 PM
I loved TDK but WATCHMEN was on a whole different level!!!; ) The best COMICBOOK movie ever put on film!!! : ) Oh yeah, Namor is the nuts!!!
LEEE777 - 3/13/2009, 12:04 PM
@ Shaman: I been waiting for you dude! How do you like this shit!? What do you think of the actor they cast? And thanks for rectifying that type earlier, and for posting the links to those articles!

@Smolo: I think a 2nd Wolverine solo endeavor would be unecessary. If they did, however, there is still A LOT to work with. I for one would like to see a live-action Wolverine vs. the Hulk! I always enjoyed Cyber, too. Truly one of Wolvie's most relentless advarsary's.

@Rorschach01 and Mattlask: I understand what you guys mean in terms of getting the story too convoluted with character development. However, I'm quite sure that he wouldn't be any real antagonist with a large focus on him. I feel they will introduce him and give a small taste of his true nature, but mostly I think he will just be introduced and set up for future X-movies. Honestly, I don't think he will have more than 5 min total screen time even just standing in the backround. They may not even come out and tell us exactly who he really is, just know that the second you see a character named Dr. Robert Windsor, that is Sinister in disguise.

Altogether, once I stand back and take in all the connections, some very subtle while others just scream at me, I feel like this is something that should be in this movie. Imagine that feeling, folks, when we are sitting there at the premier and we finally know that there is a much deeper evil beneath the carnage of the main story. % minutes of screen time done properly for this character would drastically increase the depth of this film full of villains who strike with brute force, not carefully calculated and expertly executed precision.
TheMyth - 3/13/2009, 12:05 PM
watchmen wasnt that great man...it was really good...i saw it opening night...i was happy....but lets be honest that movie just doesnt read as strong as the comic/GN.
i didnt feel as much emotion as i did reading the comic.
i had less stake in the characters.

but i will say it was a great movie.
hooked777 - 3/13/2009, 12:06 PM
@hooked77
tell me one time i have disrespected you?
none, and yet you come after me with insult after insult.
you don't believe me that i have information about the dr strange movie its ok, when loganoniel comes on, i will tell him you can read about it,
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 12:09 PM
Did the book your dead Mom (that is on DJ pic) give it to you?

Also as much as you think you are very wrong. Apoc was born around in the 30th century BC. Namor is really only the Eldest because of print. Also he is a Mutant and a Human/Atlantean hybrid. That part is in the Illuminati mini series that was discovered after he was experimented on by the Skrulls.

So ken Suck it.
+30 for Smolo
-12 for Ken.
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 12:10 PM
HOOKED777 @ Oh and THE AVENGERS movie will lmfao!!!! : D Saying that, i really hope its gonna be F'ing fantastic and WOLVERINE!!! Then we all win!!! ; ) p.s oh i like ya 777 dude :thumbs : )
LEEE777 - 3/13/2009, 12:11 PM
I agree with you myth.
Little cameos like this is what add depth and character to the movies.

I mean look at what having a bunch of names on a computer in X2 did.
Little cameos and character hints is what makes these movies part of the marvel universe... its all a matter of relevance.

Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 12:13 PM
@smolo namor was created before the marvel universe was created, the universe before marvel was the timely universe
and in june 1961 the marvel universe was born with galactus
and the timely universe was destroyed
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 12:15 PM
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say if there's any possibility to the fact that one rumor we've heard is true, that maybe, just maybe, this guy could be playing....................................................

A YOUNG CHARLES XAVIER!!

Now don't make fun of the Microsoft Paint altered pic because I have I just did that in like 2 seconds (Yes I know a retarded monkey to do a better photo shop job), but you can kind see how he could look like Xavier if you cueball his head. TheMyth is probably right because this dude does have a (pardon the pun) sinister look about him I just wanted to throw it out there to see what people think.
alten2345 - 3/13/2009, 12:17 PM
@TheMyth, hooked777 and alten2345:

Wow guys. That is some of the most impressive deductive reasoning I've seen in a long time. Great job guys!

You know if you guys are right, the studios may end up paying you just to keep a gag order on your speculations! ;)
J. "Falcon" Ayers - 3/13/2009, 12:19 PM
@smolo maybe you should read the work of jack kirby
and you might learn how the x jean was created, and who is really the first mutant,
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 12:20 PM
god I hope not. A gag order because he is the professor??? Lame.

Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 12:20 PM
Alten2345 @ Cool!! But hopefully not, they might as well call it X-MEN4 if their gonna put all these X-MEN in it! @Smolo go back in yer hole! Lol : D
LEEE777 - 3/13/2009, 12:21 PM
FalconX2 - +1
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 12:21 PM
@Justadjust

Yeah he probably isn't based on that, but stranger things have happened.
alten2345 - 3/13/2009, 12:24 PM
If you actually read what i said PRINT WISE HE IS THE ELDEST!!!! BUT ACCORDING THE AGE AND WHO WAS BORN BEFORE HIM IN THE COMICS THEN APOC IS RIGHT. GUESS WHAT YOU SUCK HOW DO YOU LIKE MY CAPS?? HECK MAYBE I'LL BE LIKE LEE AND POST THIS WHOLE THING TWICE. YOU ARE MORE THAN LIKELY ONE OF THOSE IDIOTS ON XBOX LIVE WHO SING AND THINK THEY HAVE TALENT WHEN THEY SOUND LIKE THEY ARE HACKING ON THEIR DEAD MOMS TEET! GO BACK TO BEING EMO BECAUSE BEING A COMIC NERD DOESN'T FIT YOU!
JUST HAVING A BOOK IN FRONT OF YOU DOESN'T MEAN YOU ARE GOOD IT JUST PROVES YOU ARE A CHILDISH IDIOT. IS SHE YOUR DAUGHTER AND YOUR SISTER? IS THAT HOW YOUR MOM DIED? OR DID SHE REALIZE HOW MUCH OF A LOSER HER SON IS AND JUMPED OUT OF THE PLANE AND CREATED THE GRAND CANYON?

Smolo - 3/13/2009, 12:24 PM
Triple H, again!!! Why!!! Let it die, please.

The Dark Knight, was no where near loyal, TDK was an old man when Frank Miller, worked that mini series.

Watchmen, is an instant cult classic.

This movie might do well at the box office, but it's going to be slaughtered by the "true believers" (that will be us).

As I see it, the movie industry should be listening to us. We are the investors that have supported these characters, titles and publishers from the beginning. Best way to enjoy them is to stay with the source material and stay away from the movies.

In my opinion, this movie is over saturated with characters. (Occam's Razor or Ockham's Razor)
They should have gone with Miller's version instead. Fox turned Wolverine, into a pussy.

Funny note - (Yes Shaman and Loganoneil, I'm at it again) Wouldn't it be funny if Dave Navarro, played a mini me version of Mr. Sinister. Cause they look awfully simular.
SirPrize - 3/13/2009, 12:26 PM
So the works of Kirby overwrites the correct history and what has even happened in the past year?? Wow.

Smolo +32
Ken-14
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 12:26 PM
I am trully ammzed at the amount of responses this topic has gotten.

I dont think any other movie on this site has had such a large debate...

CBM should be able to back this up.
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 12:27 PM
Rumors suggest Clark may have landed the role of a young William Stryker.
thenumber12 - 3/13/2009, 12:31 PM
@smolo
hahahahahahahaha
thanx man
that kid is annoying as hell
ken even stated he had a villain Atlas

hooked777 - 3/13/2009, 12:33 PM
Well Myth, there must be like 30 posts between this one and yours but, yeah Clark would be perfect for him actually. Of course i will always have a preference for Keith David because of his stare, his deep and freaky "goliath/spawn" voice and of course the most SINISTER smile in the business. But Clark's good :)

And aside from talking about Ken, I DID MENTION SOMETHING THAT WOULD LIKE,...LINK A POSSIBLE APOCALYPSE THREAT PEOPLE!!!! HEEELLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! You know the very VILLAIN we ALL want to see go up against the X-men aside from Sinister himself!!!! How'bout getting back on topic here?!?!?! Anybody up for a good x-chat or are we just gonna blab about spock in a speedo with wings on his heels (which serve no purpose aside from being LAAAAAAAMMMMMMEEEEEE)?!!?!?!?!
Shaman - 3/13/2009, 12:33 PM
thenumber12 - again, then what would be the point of the gag order.

The Prof. and a young Stryker would have no reason to be a huge secret.
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 12:34 PM
@smolo is that all you can say
i bet if a comic book comes out saying that jean grey is spider-man first girlfriend you will believe that to right?
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 12:35 PM
Thank you Shaman... I must type in another language...

Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 12:36 PM
Thank You Shaman! I hate those DAMN WINGS! Although I did enjoy when Venom ripped them off Namor's feet in the comics.
LastSon1027 - 3/13/2009, 12:37 PM
@Justadjust

They could be a reason for a gag order in the minds of those douchebags at Fox. They are pretty dumb lol.

Speaking of Stryker, why isn't everybody pissed off about what they've done to him?!?! He was a freaking preacher in the comic books for sh*ts sake.

All you guys care about is Deadpool this, and Sinister that. Why don't any of you care about how they have completely ruined this character hmmmmmm? Where's the love for the original mutant hating preacher Stryker?????

What about Stryker man! WHAT ABOUT STRYKER!!!!

:)

PS For those of you that don't know:

:) = joking around
alten2345 - 3/13/2009, 12:37 PM
@sirpize am sorry for the triple h thing it
is was only a joke!
kencanada200x - 3/13/2009, 12:38 PM
I also enjoyed when Marvel and DC had that VS. crossover some years back and Aquaman fought Namor and he threw a whale on him and killed him. Ahhh Aquaman so awesome!
LastSon1027 - 3/13/2009, 12:38 PM
Namor is the poor mans Aquaman.
Smolo - 3/13/2009, 12:39 PM
I can't believe I forgot this... Weapon XI is in the comics. I remember the arc he is introduced in. And it's Maverick/Agent Zero that receives the grafts to enhance his own powers and abilities for the soul purpose of assassinating Wolverine. Although Maverick/Agent Zero isn't called Weapon XI, he is the only Weapon X project uniquely created to kill Wolverine. It was John Sublime who revealed the existence of Weapon XI, stating it is designed for one purpose only... to kill Wolverine. It's later that Maverick appears(in another title in an unrelated story I think) as Agent Zero. Like I said, I don't think it has ever been exactly confirmed by coming straight from a characters mouth, but it is known what Agent Zero's purpose is.

@Kencanada: Namor has the name-sake, "Marvel's First Mutant" because he in fact APPEARED first and is a mutant. En Saba Nur was the first mutant in history, as in the beginning of the entire evolutionary offshoot that are mutants, Apocalypse is the first of their race. Namor is just the longest running mutant character, having first appeared in the forties I believe.
TheMyth - 3/13/2009, 12:40 PM
No, I agree alten2345. If this movie proves anything, its that ANYTHING, is possible. (though it may turn into a steaming pile)

Though if this movie sucks, I think we, should start sending in scripts...
Justadjust - 3/13/2009, 12:43 PM
@Shaman

More like Spock was a poor man's Sub-Mariner without widdle wings on his widdle feet. Sub-Mariner does pre-date Spock by 27 years!!!

Suck it Shaman! LMFAO

:)

In all seriousness I do like what they've done with Sub-Mariner recently though.
alten2345 - 3/13/2009, 12:44 PM
Smolo calm the [frick] down with that bile, its unnecessary. Grow up.

The Xavier thing is also a possibility, since they are prob going ahead with a solo Magneto movie which will feature a young Charlie..mmmmmm, id rather he was Sinister!
