Not bad--not bad at all. I daresay it's a bit improved from the prior version you did.

@FlixMentallo21 - Oh, it definitely is. I kept the same basic outline and premise, but restructured the scenes to better pace them, removed some of the more tonally-clashing elements, and even added some extra shit (Carmen's mini-arc, the dream sequences) to really dig into every ounce of character psychology I can.

Hulk vs Wolverine film to introduce Logan or bust. Stephen Dorff as Wolvie. Bracey as Victor Creed would be solid af.

TheRealTomServo - 12/16/2017, 7:26 PM
@DetectiveCinema - Dorff would be fine, but he's 44, man. I want a Wolvie that can stick around, y'know? Bracey would be good, but I dunno. He just doesn't play feral and crazy that way. He has a real rugged "tough guy" machismo I think is better suited to Logan.

Also, while Wolverine vs. Hulk would be awesome...
1. Making the government go after Hulk AGAIN would be pretty redundant in this universe. The Incredible Hulk and Age of Ultron kinda wrung the concept dry.
2. It really never made for an interesting story, nor did it do much for the characters. I'm kind of out of the "money shot"/"fan service" stage so if a concept is awesome on paper but doesn't help develop the characters or push the universe narrative forward, I just don't do it. It's why you won't see me ever pitch House of M.

@DetectiveCinema - P.S. Look at the B&W image I just added into the article and tell me that Bracey doesn't look damn good in the role.

Emile Hirsch has the look downpact for a young(ish) Wolverine. He thoroughly impressed me in Lords if Dogtown.

@DetectiveCinema - That's actually pretty great casting.
TheManWithoutFear

My pitch would be to have Logan at Alpha Flight, called on to fight the Hulk in Canada. Flashbacks to weapon-x and how he got adamantium. Post credits xavier coming to recruit. Takes place after the first x-men film (original 5).

@TheManWithoutFear - DetectiveCinema had a similar idea, so out of pure laziness, I'll copy-paste my reply to him.

Once again really well done. Love your choice of S. Craig Zahler for director and Nick Cave & Warren Ellis for the score. Cave and Ellis’s score to The Assasination of Jesse James is hauntingly beautiful.
As I mentioned before, I’m not big on a 6’ blond pretty boy for Logan. And I feel if this is an MCU reboot so soon after Fox’s take it should have more MCU crossover than just Tony Stark in a post-credit scene.

TheRealTomServo - 12/20/2017, 11:21 PM
@ELAYEM - Zahler and Cave/Ellis would be a really dynamic combination.

I honestly get the desire for a more comic-faithful physicality when it comes to the next Wolverine. But I took a picture of a more furry-faced Bracey and 'shopped it onto Jackman, and it actually looks pretty damn good. Not to mention he oozes classic Logan machismo and grit.

The Tony Stark scene (which also included Danny Rand) is actually a very specific set-up for a pitch including the X-Men. The reason for minimal in-film crossover, however, is due to the MAX banner. The film is canon to the MCU, but in order to keep these films as individual as possible, the references and tie-ins are kept to a minimum. Of course, certain elements of the world the universe takes place in would have an effect on those of the films under the MAX banner.

Thanks for the read!
