DC could have had such an epic Multiverse. They get some things right and completely ruin others. There is no in between. Joker was great but this looks awful. Like how are they not getting it?!

@SonOfAGif - there’s no foundation. All of this started with little to no plan for the long run. That’s why everything we’re getting now kind of varies in quality and the continuity is all over.

Say what you will about the MCU, it’s certainly had it’s ups and down, but it was born from a steady foundation and a lot of planning.

My biggest issue so far is where everyone seems to be embracing comic book accurate storylines, costumes or taking the material very seriously this sits in the neither embracing nor taking seriously the source material.

It strikes like an early 2000s show rather than a modern CBM

I like how inspired Cathy Yan sounds honestly, trying to pull from some of her favorites. I am a kubrick junkie as well, so explains the long ass title.

If this movie was just called "Harley Quinn" and the other characters weren't meant to be the Birds, then I probably would be pretty on board with this from the footage so far.

Half kidding the mounts of pasta this is going to pile on a measly $75 mil budget...my goodness. 💰 ❤️💰❤️💰❤️💰❤️💰

But more on the production side. The sets and costumes for this are objectively some of the best work we’ve seen in a Comic Book movie in many many years. It is delish and immediately Jumps off the screen pulls you in and immerses you in beauty.

Not surprising. DC has basically turned Harley into female Deadpool in the comics (before of course Gwenpool) so this seems like the natural progression of where you take a movie you have to center on Harley. There are worse things to do with it, and if not for how bad Robbie is in the role, I would actually be intrigued.

Just make sure you're pulling from DP1 rather than it's donkey of a sequel

What continuity!? They barely stick to the same cinematic universe from one movie to the next. It's beyond sloppy moviemaking because that implies they have so idea what they're doing.
