If you're not willing to pay $29.99 to watch Black Widow at home next month, then you'll likely be pleased by the news that it will be available to watch for free on Disney+ a bit sooner than expected...

Now that Black Widow is available to pre-order on Disney+, a landing page has revealed when you'll be able to watch the movie...without having to pay $29.99 for the privilege!

That's the "Premier Access" price, of course, and still quite a bit cheaper than how much it costs for an entire family to go to the theater. We'd heard that Disney was planning to release movies digitally 90 days after their initial debuts, and with a Disney+ debut for Black Widow officially set for October 6, it seems the studio is sticking with that.

Three months (give or take a day or two) isn't too long to wait before getting to rewatch a movie like Black Widow at home, though those who do pay for "Premier Access" will be able to revisit any time during that 90-day period.

This news is bound to be welcomed, though we don't know when a Blu-ray release is planned for those of you who are looking to add this first Phase 4 movie to your collections.

"In Marvel Studios' Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises," reads the movie's synopsis. "Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger."

In the movie, Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina. Black Widow is directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige; Black Widow - the first big screen story in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - arrives on July 9th both in theaters and on Disney+.

I think I'll be waiting until October then. Not ready to go to the cinema yet, and I don't think I'm gonna pay 30 bucks alone (since I don't share my D+ with anyone who also wants to see BW).

Seems about right, since 3-months at one time was the standard wait before a DVD release.

@ShimmyShimmyYA - Apparently, AT&T was going to phase out dvds. I don't know if that's still the plan with the Discovery merger.

After waiting so long for the movie to release, waiting three months for it to be free on Disney+ is nothing.

Like if i'd pay 30$+tax for something that i'll have anyways on a streaming service that i already pay.. hell nahhhh

I mean... for those who has an account Disney+.. it's should be like 8-10$ max.. now i would pay that for a rental...

And on other platform VOD 30$ for those who don't want Disney+.. that would make more sense.

@RevanOfKrypton - This is not the same thing as a rental. It's a movie in theaters that you're getting access to at home. This is a circumstance that dictates the price tag. And frankly, that's a helluva deal considering how much concessions are at movie theaters.

Why would Disney put this on universal VOD when it's incentive to subscribe to Disney+? Take a business class my friend. This pricing model actually works out in everyone's favor.

@RevanOfKrypton - You'll pay $20 for a single watch rental of any other movie playing in theaters so that 8 to 10 dollars is out the window.

@KalElNo - Me again. And again. And again. Say something silly, poof, there I am to call it out. Dude...how fragile can you be to be acting like this? CM isn't in the Infinity Saga but BW is?? Haha...dude, no. Get out of your emotions. Phase 1-3 is the Infinity Saga...plain and simple. Don't like it, that IS your problem.
