Marvel's RUNAWAYS Gets A Mid-December Premiere Date For Season Three

During their TCA summer press tour appearance earlier today, Hulu officially announced that Marvel's Runaways will return for a ten-episode third season before the end of this calendar year. Check it out.

Hulu has confirmed today, during their annual Television Critics Association summer press tour appearance, that Marvel's Runaways will return for its ten-episode third season on December 13. All ten episodes will debut together.

The new season will reportedly pick up not long after the events of season two, with the currently active Runaways - Alex (Rhenzy Feliz), Nico (Lyrica Okano) and Molly (Allegra Acosta) - still looking for a way to rescue their captured friends Chase (Gregg Sulkin), Gert (Ariela Barer) and Karolina (Virginia Gardner), while also simultaneously trying to protect Leslie (Annie Wersching) and her unborn child.

It was also revealed during the presentation that at some point this season, Nico will draw the entire gang into a dark realm ruled by the sorceress Morgan le Fay (Elizabeth Hurley), which should be very interesting.

Every teenager thinks their parents are evil. What if you found out they actually were? “Marvel’s Runaways” is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe – their parents. The Hulu original series is based on the Marvel comics created by the award- team of Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona. The book series has won an Eisner, a Harvey and was featured as one of the Young Adult Library Services Association’s best books for young adults.
