While not as large in scale as many other Marvel films, 2015's Ant-Man won the hearts of audiences with a whimsical story and humourous characters. One of these hilarious additions was Micheal Pena as Luis, one of Scott Lang's criminal associates who stole many a scene with his fast-talking antics.
The Hollywood Reporter has now confirmed that the actor will be reprising his role in the sequel, Ant-Man and The Wasp. The publication has also seemingly confirmed that the film will begin shooting next year. Paul Rudd (Scott Lang) and Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne) are set to return as the two title characters, while Michael Douglas is expected to reprise the role of Hank Pym. Peyton Reed will return to direct, with a script from Reed, Rudd, Adam McKay, Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari.
Reed previously teased that there was a "fighting chance" that Lang's team would return, along with the film having Lang as a "bigger fugitive now" after the events of Captain America: Civil War.
Are you excited to see Luis again? Sound off below! Ant Man and The Wasp releases July 6, 2018.
