@ComicBookMovie

You know you kinda spoiled the movie for me writing...

and reveals just WHO it was that decided to kill off a beloved character in THE AVENGERS!

Now when I go and watch the movie on May 4 I know someone dies, lol. I guess its my own fault for reading it.
pintoman - 4/30/2012, 12:33 PM
Uhm, SPOILER IN THE HEADLINE DUDE!
thamorse - 4/30/2012, 12:34 PM
How about not putting the fact that a beloved character is killed off in the description. Some of us haven't seen the movie yet. I actively avoid articles that have a spoile warning, but maybe I should just avoid the site completely if I can't even browse the articles without having the damn movies ruined.
masterhater - 4/30/2012, 12:37 PM
Ok what do the letters L and D stand for?

I hope Feige doesn't leave Marvel to get that job as Disney's head guy.
kevberg - 4/30/2012, 12:38 PM
Like Feige's goodwill thoughts that better movies like TDKR or Avengers help make the movies better in the long rum and wishes DC well...

Seems like a good guy.
HellsHammer - 4/30/2012, 12:38 PM
haha its funny how all the fans bash both Marvel or DC and Whedon or Nolan but both companies and filmmakers have nothing but respect for each other
jazzman - 4/30/2012, 12:39 PM
Kevin Feige laughing at the whole Marvel vs DC cr@p
Szznt - 4/30/2012, 12:40 PM
Okay, just a head's up, Joss Whedon is directing. Anyone who thought everyone was going to make it out of this movie alive clearly hasn't watched anything else he's made.
jbak368 - 4/30/2012, 12:40 PM
@masterhater - L M D - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_Model_Decoy
GUNSMITH - 4/30/2012, 12:40 PM
OK WHAT'S L AND D?
AutobotCommander84 - 4/30/2012, 12:44 PM
I don't think Coulson is dead. I think it was probably an LMD (Life Model Decoy) that died.
Batman27 - 4/30/2012, 12:44 PM
Not trolling just giving my opinion. Why does there always have to be questions about how DC can learn from Marvel? It's like WB/DC doesn't know how to make good Comicbookmovies.
jazzman - 4/30/2012, 12:45 PM
@pintoman

its says SPOILER WARNING

@Wildaniel

why the hell u got on this article for. the article said Spoiler Warning so thats your own fault for crying out loud.

@kevberg

they all work in the same industry Feige, Whedon, Nolan and etc dont have issue with each other they all respect each other. its just the silly fanboys crying like b!tches about the whole Marvel vs DC.
RobertDanger - 4/30/2012, 12:47 PM
This confirms what I've always known; Kevin Feige is a CHAIR.
kevberg - 4/30/2012, 12:49 PM
no, FEIGE said LMD....LIfe Model Decoy.
Wildaniel - 4/30/2012, 12:50 PM
@jazzman

Its written in the teaser by the icon.
marvel72 - 4/30/2012, 12:54 PM
i would like to see joss return for the avengers 2 he did a fantastic job.

fingers crossed iron man 3 & thor 2 up their game because the avengers has raise the bar quite high.
revloveR - 4/30/2012, 12:56 PM
i can't believe they killed the hulk. that's ridiculous.
BuzzKiller - 4/30/2012, 1:23 PM
ITS L.M.D.!!! You did the interview and don't even know what he said? C'mon!! Life Model Decoy.....leaving the possibility for someone to actually be back for future movies.Hey C.B.M.,since you're the man with interviews, have you found out anymore info on the extra end of credits scene?( Not the mid-credits scene) I hear they were saving that for the U.S. release, and to draw the others back a second or third time.
KNIGHT3000 - 4/30/2012, 1:28 PM
I saw it last week... It was pretty awesome. Best parts were Hulk vs Thor, and Ironman vs Thor. Yea, Thor was the MAN! For real
KNIGHT3000 - 4/30/2012, 1:29 PM
Captain America had all the best lines
GingerBird - 4/30/2012, 1:33 PM
You've gotta love the fact that there's no surprises happening in this movie. It's all talked about.
Gusto - 4/30/2012, 1:34 PM
I confirm my sexiness.
Gusto - 4/30/2012, 1:35 PM
And, Captain America should have all the best lines.
After all, America's the best.
So, it's only fitting.
ClarkStark - 4/30/2012, 1:43 PM

Kobe?

Oh... Colby!
sansClaymore - 4/30/2012, 1:52 PM
wow
i came to this site years ago for the first time to do one thing

read the spoilers for the upcoming cbm's

that is what this site is all about... any and all news and spoilers related to cbm's

im so tired of reading posts blasting the soiler angle, or complaining that a spoiler is in a headline.

reality check: THAT IS WHAT THIS SITE IS ALL ABOUT!!!

do not visit this site period, if you do not want to read spoilers, either purposefully or by accident.

i kinda thought it was obvious.

try googling for spoilers on purpose and you will inevitably run into the comicbookmovie website, thats how i found it years ago during the run up to the release of the dark night.
Ortonito - 4/30/2012, 1:53 PM
Er, WHAT is this about an END of credit scene? I saw the mid-credit scene and stuck around until the end of the credits on the off chance? Any truth to this?
RorMachine - 4/30/2012, 1:55 PM
Great stuff, Feige comes across really well. And he's a Game Of Thrones fan''extra points!
Gusto - 4/30/2012, 1:55 PM

Spoiler Alert! Boobs!

marknjoanna - 4/30/2012, 2:11 PM
@dr marvel.still not one kind word about marvel huh.almost like a but hurt nolanite with a marvel logo.got a marvel logo but never a kind word for marvel hummmmm.i wouldnt blame a dc fanboy for wanting to hide with the beat down marvel is putting on dc.and will be beating them down for years and years to come.
shiverman20 - 4/30/2012, 2:44 PM
I avoided any Avengers articles, reviews and threads for a couple of weeks leading up to it's release and the whole movie was preserved for me, apart from what I'd seen it the trailers and it was perfect... I have no sympathy for people reading articles on a film that has already been released and complaining about "spoilers", have some willpower, it makes the wait all the more worthwhile
superotherside - 4/30/2012, 3:23 PM
Awesome review Jim. Can't wait to see the Avengers!
NerdByBirth - 4/30/2012, 3:50 PM
For those of you wondering what L and D are, I think he said "LMD" which stands for "Life-Model Decoy" essentially robots that look and sound like people, General Ross used one in Red Hulk.
Jollem - 4/30/2012, 3:55 PM
good stuff!
dailycomicsfix - 4/30/2012, 4:14 PM
@ darthrageracer: LOL!!!! ok, so you cost Marvel $150. So, the avengers will gross $1.2 billion less $150....hahahahahahaha!!!!!! yeah...DC FTW alright....get a life man....
imc21 - 4/30/2012, 4:24 PM
BRING AGENT COULSON BACK AS THE VISION!!!!!
ahhmynuts - 4/30/2012, 5:04 PM

People...He is not DEAD!!!! For those that did not watch the movie pay special attention when Fury is talking to Maria Hill about the trading cards...He is not DEAD!!!
marknjoanna - 4/30/2012, 6:56 PM
nice rant banegirl.anyways when was the last time dc made even a decent movie, like 2007 or 2008 wasnt it lmao what a bunch of losers.enjoy your bat reboot.again hahahahahaa.
Smokey - 4/30/2012, 7:30 PM
That petty little 'war' that they make fun of in the interview... is on show, just relax people
Smokey - 4/30/2012, 7:33 PM
Also it would be cool if Coulson realised that The Avengers weren't coming together, so he and Fury devised the plan to use a LMD to give them that 'push'. But can LMD's bleed??
davidbatmanfan - 4/30/2012, 8:36 PM
If he's really dead then i agree with imc21 and bring him back as Vision.
SleazyJonesDC - 4/30/2012, 9:07 PM
See people if your a true comic book fan like this guy it don't matter if it DC or Marvel. I'm a big DC fan but I still want to get into detail in the marvel world. Even he wants to see the new Batman film. Come on people.
SFCamerica - 4/30/2012, 9:21 PM
Ya'll are nuts. Stark tells Coulson he's reached his "Life Model Decoy" when he calls him, that is what Feige is winking at.
NoCape77 - 4/30/2012, 11:48 PM
Excited to see this movie and it should make at least 75 million this upcoming weekend. I think the only reason it made a lot of money overseas is because I believe ticket prices are a lot cheaper than here and movie critics are not as bad as they are here.

Its like that movie battleship I don't see how that made over 170 million overseas almost on par with the avengers and that comes out here on May 19th. So I believe by the end of May Avengers would have made about 350-400 million in the US and Battleship about 40 million.

As for the new sequels like Iron Man 3, Captain America 2, Thor 2, The new Hulk movie I think they are bad ideas. It doesn't make sense that it took 5 movies to make the Avengers happen just to split them up again. If anything they should be focusing on future avengers movies like adding Wasp and antman and since we have a new spiderman and wolverine movie in the works they can be added in the new avengers 2 movie since they were also members.

I'm just tired of actors being replaced in movies in which the first was James Rhodes in Iron man 2 and now Hulk. In my opinion I didnt like Iron man 2 mainly because of the change and I felt awkward watching it. Now theres buzz that Robert Downey may not on board for Avengers 2. So I say why waste the time making Iron Man 3? Why dont you focus all that time and story you have in all these new sequels and merge them to fit within the avengers timeline. Let the movies have fluidity and stop scattering them them all over the place.

This is my opinion on how I would do the movies.
Ichaos - 5/1/2012, 12:43 AM
hmmm Those drapes were a bit girly for a guy CEO and that chair OMG its not ergonomic!!!!
Havok2 - 5/1/2012, 1:52 AM
Why is the cbm title so bloody loud?

well said

I agree with this post I don't want the avengers to spit up it took 5 years and after the credits scene which was badass I want avengers 2
