Kim Soo Hyun cast in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON
Korean actress Kim Soo Hyun has reportedly been cast in Joss Whedon's 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'. Hit the jump to find out more.
Various Korean websites are reporting that actress Kim Soo Hyun has been chosen to star in the highly anticipated sequel to Marvel's The Avengers. Hyun will reportedly play the major role of a doctor who will appear within the middle act of the film and serve as a partner to Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark/Iron Man. It's been said that over 40 actresses auditioned, including top stars. Joss Whedon reportedly visited Korea in December 2013 for the various rounds of auditions. A staff member present at the auditions has said that Marvel wanted an actress fluent in English, and that Hyun fit the role the best. It has been reported that Marvel is keeping quiet on this news and has yet to make an official announcement.
