Jeremy Jahns actually compared Penny Fleck's handwriting and she did not write the note on the picture. I also don't think there is another T.W. That seems silly, I think Wayne wrote the note, maybe he flirted with her once or twice, but I don't think he is Arthur's father. The adoption twist was very deliberate in its intent to dismantle that. Regardless of what you believe, I like that Arthur crumbles the picture when he sees it, as it doesn't even matter at that point, he's already well on his way to being completely gone with no identity.

Another cool observation is after Wayne punches Arthur, he bleeds and leans onto the bathroom sink. The next shot is Arthur leaning over the sink in his apartment. Some fun little nods and ambiguity as to what was in his head or not helps keep the mystique of the Joker, more than I thought they would going into it. A fun way to make a Joker origin story while maintaining his lack of identity.

If you listen to Bryan Callen enough you know he makes up 80% of what he says. I'm not sure this was ever true, but I guess he could be a former stripper turned clown. Otherwise I'm not sure how it would have fit into the movie.

As soon as I saw that zorro was playing at the theatre in the final scene I was like..

I knew right there where it was going. I know a lot of people think it was forced to have the death of the waynes, but I loved it as a thematic idea for this movie. and it makes me really interested to see how the Batman of this universe turns out. If there are even any other villains in this universe.

Did anybody else notice the actual Easter egg of the hidden picture of de nitros character from the king of comedy on the wall at the comedy club? It’s a quick blink and you miss it, buts it’s there.

How do we know he saw "Zorro The Gay Blade"? The marquee also showed Blow Out, Brian De Palma's nihilistic masterpiece. What if Bruce Wayne grows up to become a sound guy like Travolta was in that movie? 🤔
Also, a Batman inspired by Zorro The Gay Blade would be a... very different caped crusader

Saw a theory that takes it a step further to what I originally thought but i do agree with. I thought the end of the film shows Joker in the future. How far, don't know. But definitely in Batman's era to mybe hopefully link Phoenix and Pattinson. This theory goes on to state:

"final scene is set in the future. Many years after the flashback of the events of the film. This is why Arthur has dark hair and stubble (What made me presume it was in the future as well too). Bruce is already Batman and he has just captured Joker. While in Arkham, Joker has a flashback to the death of the Wayne's and he puts it together. Bruce Wayne is Batman and that is why it is a joke no one else will ever understand..."

And these fellas have a history together soooo....

I noticed a Robinson Park, which is a location from the comics named for the creator of the Joker, Jerry Robinson.
