8 years past & no classic batman villain surfaced.

it never says that there was no classic villains surfaced... i mean nothing has been said like "he has faced some great villains in that time" but nothing has been saying "hes been completely inactive either"

we'll just have to wait and find out.

Maybe those eight years will be a main focus on post Nolan batman movies?

Who cares Avengers will be better

Logically during the 8 years something went down with the Joker that Nolan will cover. 8 years dealing with the Joker = tired Bat

Hopefully they'll use some Easter Eggs in the film that relate to other un-used villains.

8 yrs i think is too long especially if his suit hasnt changed & doesnt have a new bat mobile because it stands to reason he most definitely would of got a new suit & batmobile & 8 yrs after alot of people would of forgotten harvey dent & i doubt we will see a smarter bruce i forsee unanswered questions & story gaps they should of done it 2 yrs after or 4 at a push

Thank you so much for posting this! Was able to read the whole article on my iPad! TDKR and Avengers! What a time to be a fan of these comics. EFF haters of either franchise! When I picked up my first Cap and my first Batman 20 + years ago, never did I dream I would see all my favorites in non-cheesy big screen glory!!!!
