Quicksilver Actor Evan Peters Would Like To Team-Up With Ryan Reynolds' DEADPOOL

He stole the show in X-Men: Days of Future Past and for many moviegoers, Evan Peters' Quicksilver was the highlight of X-Men: Apocalypse. Is the time right for 20th Century Fox to make a solo film?

There's not too many aspects of the 20th Century Fox's X-Men Universe that comic book fans prefer over the Marvel Cinematic Universe but Evan Peters' Quicksilver is generally regarded as one of those exceptions.  When asked by The Wrap whether he'd ever like to star in a standalone Pietro Maximoff film,  the American Horror Story actor cited the long lead time for Quicksilver's VFX as an obstacle, " Oh my god, I don't know. It would take three years to shoot, wouldn't it? Yeah I don't know. I would love to do that."  However, what he's most keen on is a team-up movie with Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool.  "I would like to see a Deadpool/Quicksilver movie. I think that would be really fun."

With Fox seemingly turning its attention to New Mutants, X-Force and of course, Deadpool, the future of the X-Men franchise appears to be shifting away from the main players in an attempt to develop its full roster of characters.  That leaves Quicksilver's future open to a number of possibilities, including turning up in the Deadpool movie.  What do you think Ryan Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth would make of the slow-motion wizard? It would certainly be cool to see Wade Wilson break the fourth wall during one of Quicksilver's (now) infamous time slowing sequences.
