I loved the Batman Beyond TV series and I wouldn't mind if they made a movie about Batman Beyond. I think it would be okay to change some parts of the story, as long as they don't change it completely .

If I was to pick a director, it would be J.J Abrams.

Garrett Hedlund as Terry McGinnis

Mark Harmon as Bruce Wayne

I would've chosen Clint Eastwood, but (from what I've heard) he's done with acting, I thought of Jeff Bridges, but he doesn't seem to fit to me like Mark Harmon does.

Jamie Chung as Dana Tan

Amber Stevens as Max Gibson

Bryan Cranston as Warren McGinnis

Linda Haimilton as Mary McGinnis

Maggie Q as Inque

William Fitchner as Derek Powers

A batman beyond movie would be cool actually...great cast man!
wyokid - 10/21/2011, 12:25 AM
Awesome idea, terrible cast.
CrossOver - 10/21/2011, 1:06 AM
Not news. I like Mark Harmon for an older Bruce.
UGN - 10/21/2011, 2:49 AM
I thinks Michael Keaton would make an awesome "old" Bruce Wayne.
airrun2000 - 10/21/2011, 7:26 AM
Great casting, and I agree with UGN, Michael K. would make great Bats. Although, consider Jack Coleman (Noah Bennett from Heroes) as Warren McGinnis.

the Fichtner pick is perfect.
alucard365 - 10/21/2011, 10:12 AM
i seen better.
ndwwrestler2 - 10/21/2011, 10:45 AM
@CrossOver I keep forgetting to change that.

@RunDTC It's great to see that you didn't call my casting garbage this time.

@alucard365 You've seen better? Well I'll make sure to try to do better next time.

when i was watching Tron Legacy i thought that Garrett Hedlund would be a great Terry Mcginnus, I never got around to making a fan cast for it, but this is a good cast! I like. good job
ndwwrestler2 - 10/21/2011, 11:27 AM
@THABATMAN I thougth about others like Alex Pettyfer, and Chris Pine, But I decided to go with somebody like Garrett Hudland, who is younger than Chris Pine and is more of an established actor than Alex Pettyfer.

Harman is too charming and calm to be Bruce. Bruce needs to be a man who hasn't aged well and has a lot a scars. The rest of the cast is good even though Hedlund is a little old for Terry.
BatSlam - 10/21/2011, 10:48 PM
Harman is the only one I don't like here, but I don't like him at all as bruce and that is a big part of the cast. The rest isn't to bad. I dont know who the guy playing terry mcginness is but he looks familiar, and he is at least a little broad shouldered and could be muscular looking in a bat suit.

I think when alucard365 says he's "seen better," I think he might be talking about my "Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker" FanCast... Tee Hee

Honestly, I don't think your FanCast is too bad. My only gripe would be that I LOATHE Mark Harmon. Not sure why, but I hate him irrationally...

@SUPERBATSPIDERMAN & BatSlam & RandomHierophant

The reason I chose Mark Harmon is because of some of the stuff I've seen him act in, I keep thinking that he would make a great Batamn if he were 30 years younger.

The guy playing Terry is the same guy that played in Tron:Legacy.
GreenLanternsLight33 - 10/23/2011, 2:04 AM
Mark Harmon is a great actor (just watch NCIS to prove it). However like has already been said there is only one and I mean one older Bruce Wayne and that is the only man to play Batman/Bruce Wayne perfectly and that is Michael Keaton!
ndwwrestler2 - 10/23/2011, 4:59 PM
@GreenLanternsLight33 I didn't feel that Keaton was that great of a young Batman, But he would work better as an older Batman.

I just think that Mark Harmon would be great in that role.
KNIGHT3000 - 10/25/2011, 1:08 PM
I don't agree with your Bruce Wayne, the rest... meh... ok.
ndwwrestler2 - 10/25/2011, 10:52 PM
@KNIGHT3000 I'm glad you feel that way. You didn't say it was great, but you didn't say it was bad either.

Thanx man, I try to be honest. I like Mark Harmon, he was also a great SUPERMAN in the CRISIS ON 2 EARTHS animation. I would put somone more brooding as BATMAN, or a previous Bat actor, like Mike Keaton for example.

You deffinately want that "full circle" feel in BATMAN BEYOND, and I think a previous Bat actor would provide that. Fincher is a great Director, I have been following him since his beginnings, even did a paper on him like 10 years ago in college. After doing the "facebook" movie, I believe he has proven to everyone ELSE that he can do anything. I thought it was WACK that he won an award for that mediocre movie when he had created so much GOLD in the past. Its only because everybody and their Mama got facebook why it had so much recognition. I always thought he would be ideal for a SPAWN movie as well.
Brad Bird is also quite good, can't wait for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE.
I am also not so sure about Garrett Hedlund for Terry McGinnis. But no 1 else comes to mind at the moment.
