Over at the Nolan Fans forums, the creator of the thread below posted a possible scene description a while back of one of the scenes films in India in May for The Dark Knight Rises. While we've heard things about Bane jumping out of the Lazarus Pit, surviving a burning village, etc. in the past, the following goes into much more details. So although this is still classifiable as a rumor until further notice, a strong spoiler warning is being placed, so turn away if you wanna know NOTHING about the film already...

the league burns down a town and just as their about to leave they see a child rise up out of a pit covered in flames. They are intrigued because it has something to do with their mythology or prophecies. I guess they see him as a messiah of some sort. The chant is a kind of tribute slash salute. I would love to see the league assemble themselves piece by city in Gotham and then salute him with the chant in the city square that has been emptied out due to the fear spread through Gotham

Again, this is still just a rumor that has yet to be confirmed or debunked. Take this info with a grain of salt until further notice. But do you think that this sounds right, and fits in with other reports that we've heard before? Sound off your thoughts below in the usual place!

Starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman, The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012!

@Truder apparently, one of the editors thought it was worthy of main, and I didn't even care one way or another.
MercWithAGun - 7/2/2011, 5:14 PM
Well that was interesting, but I agree why is it on the main
superotherside - 7/2/2011, 5:15 PM
great find bro! and don't pay any attention to @Intruder

@Intruder A quote I made just for you: "Trolling is like a poison it can take us over and before you know it can turn you into an Intruder."
vanillabear - 7/2/2011, 5:16 PM

TheSensationalSpiderman - 7/2/2011, 5:18 PM

Joker08 - 7/2/2011, 5:20 PM
Yay. Another fan theory, its creator so sure of themself they claim to have 'inside info' and post it as such. If I had an F'in nickel...
marvel72 - 7/2/2011, 5:22 PM
so his going to be a scared up bane, right.
BackwardGalaxy - 7/2/2011, 5:26 PM
There is literally zero new information in this story. We've known this for a long while.
TheSensationalSpiderman - 7/2/2011, 5:28 PM
@Intruder- You know this could all be BS.
JoshWilding - 7/2/2011, 5:33 PM
"I would love to see the league assemble themselves..."

Yeah, this sounds more like someone's opinion to me than an actual rumor about the movie.
chucksome12391 - 7/2/2011, 5:33 PM
just seen on ign that bats is gonna have a military chopper with a tumbler look to it.
jazzman - 7/2/2011, 5:46 PM

Doesn't seem like Nolan's style to me.
Sto0pidpenguinpro - 7/2/2011, 5:59 PM
This (http://movies.ign.com/articles/118/1180262p1.html) is what Chucksome12391 is referring to. This by NO MEANS shows that there will definitely be a bat-copter in the movie.
cable23 - 7/2/2011, 6:00 PM
This was pretty much information we all ready knew. Even though it sounds like a fan theory it does sound plausible. I mean there was chanting in that marketing video on twitter so it could be used as Bane intro of some sort. And if you ask me this sounds pretty bad ass. People on this site needs to just hold the judgment until the final product. For example: X MEN FIRST CLASS
GillytheKid33 - 7/2/2011, 6:02 PM
As much as I love the rumors, this movie is getting really salty.
RockNRollCC - 7/2/2011, 6:40 PM
BREAK THE BAT

Break you Pictures, Images and Photos

One year to go...

djohnson - 7/2/2011, 7:14 PM
Normally I'm not all that picky-heck, I even thought the Zack Snyder's Watchmen ending was waaaaay better than the original-but, this makes me a little salty.

Part of the intrigue about Bane is that he was forced to pay for the crimes of his father. I just find that idea cool; plus, it helps explain the character's motivations.

Just my opinion.
GuardianAngel - 7/2/2011, 8:22 PM
@grimlock20 with Nolan movies i stopped caring a long time ago if its like the comics because Heath Leadgers joker looked nothing like the comics and it earned him an Oscar
Colton - 7/2/2011, 9:33 PM
@Intruder
maybe he's Michael Palin's son. would explain his 'englishness' or lack of being "indian". michael palin could of left him their on his travels
NeoBaggins - 7/2/2011, 9:55 PM
Cable23 You're only defending it because you like the fan fiction you just read. And far as holding judgment, you can't stop people (including YOURSELF) from sharing their thoughts about movies in development- And X-MEN FIRST CLASS makes no solid point against this. Did I like the movie? Yeah. Does that change how shitty it was looking up until a week before it's release? Noooo.

This is retarded ass fan fiction and there's never any real news about this film because Nolan doesn't [frick] around with his productions. No plots, no story arch's and no picture of great importance revealing ANYTHING will show up unless it's supposed to.
breakthebat2306 - 7/2/2011, 9:55 PM
tom hardy will wow alot of ppl as bane and this movie could very well be better than TDK.......maybe i have high hopes for this movie.
SpiderFan35 - 7/2/2011, 10:14 PM
I don't know what to think at this point, as GuardianAngel says, the TDK Joker had very little to do with the comics Joker other than basic appearance and I think it worked out.
Maybe Nolan is taking Bane in a new direction as well, who knows.
Ryguy88 - 7/2/2011, 10:19 PM
Yeah, I'm gonna wait for some plot details before I start proclaiming anything in this movie to sound stupid. I remember a while back, no more than a year ago actually, that people on this site were running around stating that First Class would be a flat out bad movie while knowing very very little about it. I guess some things will never change.
95 - 7/3/2011, 3:10 AM
@Intruder

I believe this is true. But we all find out soon enough.

Also, don't assume Bane is of any specific ethnicity because no one said he lives there.

Remember, the League of Shadows destroys cities infested with criminals and corruption.

Bane could be a traveling bandit, killing and stealing only to be caught by the villagers, shortly after Ra's burns down there jail, etc.

Anyways, this rumor is old.

Anyone who liked the Watchmen movie should have their geek card revoked, because they are obviously a retard.

Im feelin another DC turd comin out

Sorry Nolan
PlanetJoetopia - 7/3/2011, 6:35 AM
Just to play devils advocate on a rumor but...in TDK, Alfred tells a story about a man in Burma who robbed the wealthy just for the hell of it or "some men just want to watch the world burn."
In BB Ras tells Bruce that one of their weapons to destroy a society was economics. TDK - the Joker comes from nowhere with no identity and not only attempts to get Gotham to turn on itself, like Ras did - but he too takes money for the hell of it and says the point is - "everything burns."
Is only BB and TDKR going to be connected or was TDK also a piece...just sayin...
Minato - 7/3/2011, 9:23 AM
I dont know or care if this "rumor" is true or not. Whoever is hating so much on Grif that they reported his content as abusive needs to stop. Grif been here forever saying the same thing. Let the angry bear be him that was just childish.
Batman5 - 7/3/2011, 10:33 AM
you guys are idiots, this movie is going to be the best cbm ever! and to date the Dark Knight is the best cbm. Im sorry marvel trolls, get over yourselvs. And intruder proves again what a trolling cancer he is.
skidz - 7/3/2011, 11:30 AM
If Bane's impervious to pain, what's up with the mask then? He doesn't seem to have any burns in the official photo of him. This is probably just junk to throw people off.
BuddyIsrael - 7/3/2011, 12:03 PM
@Grimlock20 watch Bronson and say Hardy isn't bulky enough again, the guy was huge in Bronson, although he isn't tall he can easily be made to be in the cinematography.
your comment about Catwoman is just wrong, there is no reason why Nolan can't make her good, and Hathaway is a good actress.

The cast is looking great, Nolan's doing a good job.
such a shame that Heath Ledger died, it would have been nice to see him reprise the joker role (Y)
Lert - 7/3/2011, 12:35 PM
Aint a damn person gonna post something that has anything to do whats in Nolans head... it just isnt gonna happen... he's too damned private.. what the hell did we know about the first two movies... NOTHING!!! this isnt a leak, this is someone pissing on a flat rock just to make noise....
SigmaCenturion - 7/3/2011, 7:54 PM
I can't wait for the reboot and actually have a smart batman one like I see in the comics and cartoons a batman that criminals actually fear instead of having them be like meh all the time.
EarOne - 7/3/2011, 10:40 PM
hopefully this movie AND Man of Steel will ROCK, but The Avengers will be 1000x BETTER!!!
Theamazingbatman - 7/4/2011, 5:16 AM
X 3 started with flashback scenes and so will TDKR. Why do they both look similar.
